  9. Thank you for trying VideoPoker.  VideoPoker is a poker game for the Palm Pilot 
  10. that has basically the same rules as the Jacks-Or-Better video poker games found 
  11. in many casinos.
  12.  
  13. The initial bankroll provided by this program is $100.  If you run out of money,
  14. you will need to register the program in order to be able to "buy" additional 
  15. chips and continue playing the game.  The registration fee is just $7.00.  A small 
  16. sum for all the enjoyment you will get from this game!

  25. How to Play

  28. The screen for the game is divided as follows:

  44. The bet amount can be changed by selecting "One" or "Max" button.  The "One" button
  45. increments the bet amount by one, up to the maximum bet of $5.  The "Max" button
  46. sets the bet amount to $5.  After selecting the bet amount, press the "Deal" 
  47. button to start the game.

  49. When the Deal button is pressed, you will be dealt five cards.  You may keep 
  50. any or all of the cards.  To keep a card, press the "Hold" button beneath the card.
  51. You may also press the card itself to select it.  Pressing the "Hold" button again
  52. toggles the hold value, and de-selects the card.

  54. After you have selected all of your cards that you would like to keep, press the "Deal"
  55. button.  The cards that were not selected to hold will be replaced with new cards.  If
  56. you have a pair of Jacks or better, you will be paid based upon the payout values for
  57. that hand.

  97. To register by mail, please send a check or money order for $7(US). Make check 
  98. payable to Rose Software, and write "VideoPoker" on the check.

  100. Please include your email address so that we can send you a registration code.  
  101. Your registration code will then need to be entered via the Register option in 
  102. the pulldown menu in order to activate the ability to purchase additional chips 
  103. and to be able to reset the statistics.

  106. future products.  If you would not like this automatic notification, please let us

  122. Installation
  123. -------------

  125. Install LetItRide.prc using instapp.exe.
  126. instapp.exe can be found in your pilot directory. (ex.c:\pilot\instapp.exe)

  128. Alternately, this application can be installed via the Palm Desktop application.
  129. Go to the "Install" Icon under Palm Desktop, and then click "Add...".  This 
  130. will bring up a browse window which you can use to find VideoPoker.prc.  Select
  131. VideoPoker.prc, and the next time you do a HotSync, the application will be
  132. transferred to your Palm Pilot.
