Booster Pack 1 provides 3 additional game sets (15 games) as an add-on to the original 5 games provided with the Baby Games application. Booster Pack 1 is designed to expand upon the skills your child developed in the original game set.
What's in the Booster Pack?
The following components make up Booster Pack 1:
Booster 1
*Alphabet Identification - This is a modification of the original alphabet game. Your child is asked to identify letters by name without an example given (i.e. "Find the letter A" rather than "Find the letter A as in apple."). This will help to teach sight identification of letters. Letters are in alphabetical order.
*Number Identification - This is a modification of the original numbers game. However, the numbers are not in sequential order so that your child can develop sight recognition of the numbers 1-20.
*Fruit Identification - This is sight recognition of 9 different fruits.
*Sports Identification - This is sight recognition of 9 different sports.
*Animal Identification - By consistent popular demand, parents have asked for more animal games. Kids love animals. These are 9 more animals for sight and sound recognition.
Booster 2
*Alphabet Identification - This is a modification of the original alphabet game. Your child is asked to identify letters by name with an example given (i.e. "Find A as in apple") However, the letters are not in alphabetical order. This will help to teach sight recognition of letters.
*Number/Color Identification - Three skills are combined into one (number identification, counting, and color identification (i.e. "Find 1 red apple", or "Find 1 yellow apple"). This will assist your child in developing sight recognition of the numbers 1-5 and of 4 basic colors.
*Vegetable Identification - This is sight recognition of 9 different vegetables.
*Money Identification - This is sight recognition of 9 different units of American Currency.
*Animal Identification - These are 9 more animals for sight and sound recognition.
Booster 3
*Alphabet Identification - This is a modification of the original alphabet game. Your child is asked to identify letters by name without an example given. The letters are not in alphabetical order. Since the letters are not in alphabetical order and no examples are given, this game requires the highest level of sight recognition.
*Number/Color Identification - Three skills are combined into one (number identification, counting, and color identification (i.e. "Find 10 red pineapples", or "Find 10 yellow pineapples"). This will assist your child in developing sight recognition of the numbers 6-10 and of 4 basic colors.
*Feelings Identification - Basic identification of 9 different feeling faces. The importance in teaching children to empathize with others cannot be overstated. A vital building block for the development of empathy is to teach children how to read emotions in others (as well as in themselves). This IS NOT an innate skill and it must be taught. I must state a caveat of this game. There are several pictures which (in the real world) could have more than one correct answer (i.e. a "lonely" person could also be a "sad" person; a "frustrated" person could also be an "angry" person). However, due to the constraints of the game design, there can be only one correct answer. Therefore, as you play the game with your child, please emphasize that in real life a person often feels more than one emotion at once.
*Music Identification - Identification of 9 different musical instruments with sounds.
*Insect/Spider Identification - Kids love insects almost as much as animals (at least mine do). This is a game of identification of 8 different insects and a spider (which is not an insect). I guess you could call it the 8 insects and a spider game.
How do I install the Booster Pack?
Booster 1, Booster 2, and Booster 3 must be placed in your Baby Games plug-ins folder. The installer will ask you to locate the plug-ins folder for installation. Please note that you must purchase the license code first in order to install the Booster Pack.

I am the father of two preschool children. Both love Baby Games. Many of the child voices in the program are that of my son Jonathan at age 3-4. The crying baby is my son Joshua at age 1. I have a Specialist In Education (Ed.S.) from Georgia State University.
