1. Brief info
Six-Trix is a combination of two original tetris-style games based
on 35 pieces consisting of 6 blocks. Six-Trix is very addictive,
so be prepared to spend long hours playing it!
2. System requirements
486DX2/66 or higher, Windows 95/98/2000/NT, DirectX 3 or higher.
The game works in 800x600 resolution with 65536 colors. Sound
card is optional.
3. Game rules
Game 1
Game idea is to fill with the falling pieces a horizontal line (or
several lines) of the pit. Make it as soon as possible to get a high
score. You can control the pieces rotating them around 3 axes in
space and moving them to the left or to the right.
The pieces fall from the top of the pit until they hit another piece
or the bottom of the pit, but when the piece hits the blocks of its
own color, these blocks disappear and the piece continues to fall.
When the fall is finished, the current points are added to your score
and a new piece emerges. When a horizontal line is filled it disappears
and the rest of the blocks falls down. Once the top of the pit is
reached, the game is over!
Every 60 pieces the game speed is increased and the pieces points are
doubled. The points of a current piece are shown at the bottom-left
corner of the screen.
Game 2
When a piece finishes its fall, adjacent blocks of the same color
disappear and the rest of the piece continues its now independent
fall while possible. When a horizontal line is filled it disappears
and the rest of the blocks falls down and when the top of the pit is
reached, the game is over. Every 25 pieces the game speed is
increased. There are no pieces points added to your score on this
game.
