  8.     This is a puzzle game for running under Microsoft Windows.

  10.     PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS:
  11.      PC compatible computer running MS Windows 3.1, Win 95, or Win NT.
  12.      Display capable of 256 colors.

  15.     Puzzles and logic, no quick reflexes.  Boulderdash-type game.

  17.         MESH is a game engine, and Hero Defiant is the second
  18.         game implemented using it.  Hero Defiant is a sequel
  19.         to the first MESH game, Hero's Hearts.  You guide the Hero
  20.         through each of more than 100 levels, collecting all of the
  21.         Hearts and then reaching the Exit.  No quick reflexes are
  22.         needed (nor of any use), just lots of sharp wits and clear
  23.         thinking.

  27.     WHO MAY DISTRIBUTE MESH:HERO DEFIANT

  30.     INDIVIDUALS may freely make copies of the SHAREWARE VERSION of
  31.     Hero for friends and acquaintances, as long as no fee is charged.

  33.     BBS systems, on-line services, ftp sites, and web pages  may also
  34.     freely distribute the shareware version of Hero, as long as no
  35.     fee is charged besides reasonable subscription and/or connect-time
  36.     charges.

  38.     ALL OTHERS *MUST* contact Everett Kaser Software for explicit
  39.     written permission to distribute the game.  This permission is
  40.     usually granted to most vendors who properly explain the shareware
  41.     concept and charge no more than a reasonable fee. However, you *MUST*
  42.     receive permission FIRST.  All other distribution methods are carefully
  43.     considered, but not always allowed.

  45.     The game package MUST include the files listed below.  The individual
  46.     files may NOT be copied or distributed seperately.

  60.     Hero is being distributed as Shareware.  If you use the game
  61.     for more than one week, you are expected to pay for its use.   To
  62.     register the game send the registration fee of US $19.95 (+$2 shipping
  63.     inside North America, $4 shipping elsewhere) to the author.
