- USES TO MARK HIS HAND ON THE SQUARE AFTER HE WINS IT; EACH PLAYER'S PIGS HAVE
- A UNIQUE SHAPE AND/OR COLOR. THE COMPUTER AUTOMATICALLY MARKS THE SQUARE FOR
- YOU SO THE GAME IS REAL EASY AND YOU NEVER LOSE THE PIECES (HA).

- OBJECT:
- THE OBJECT OF PLAY IS TO BE THE FIRST PLAYER TO CONTROL FOUR SQUARES IN A ROW.

- DRAWING A HAND:
- ON A PLAYER'S TURN THE COMPUTER DEALS 5 CARDS FROM THE DECK, AND ROLLS THE
- "CHANCE DIE". THE NUMBER ON THE DIE (1..5) DETERMINES HOW MANY CARDS THE
- PLAYER MAY "TWIDDLE", THAT IS, DESIGNATE TO BE SHUFFLED BACK INTO THE DECK AND
- REDRAWN. THE COMPUTER USES A STANDARD 52-CARD POKER DECK, AND AFTER EACH
- PLAYER'S TURN HIS CARDS ARE SHUFFLED BACK INTO THE DECK BEFORE THE NEXT
- PLAYER'S TURN. A PLAYER MAY TWIDDLE LESS CARDS THAN HIS CHANCE DIE ALLOWS.

- TO SPECIFY THE CARDS TO BE TWIDDLED:
- USE THE KEYBOARD TO HIT THE NUMERALS "1" THROUGH "5" AS DESIRED, THEN HIT
- THE ESC KEY.
- OR USE THE MOUSE TO POINT AND CLICK AT THE "1" THROUGH "5" IN THE PROMPT, THEN
- CLICK THE "0".

- PIGGING-OUT:
- AFTER A PLAYER RUNS OUT OF TWIDDLES, OR IS SATISFIED WITH HIS HAND, HE MAY
- CAPTURE A SQUARE AND "PIG-OUT" HIS HAND ONTO IT, IF:

- 1. THE SQUARE IS EMPTY.
- 2. THE HAND IS AT LEAST A JACK.
- 3. THE HAND IS HIGHER THAN THE CURRENT HAND PIGGED-OUT ON IT. FOR EXAMPLE,
- TWO JACKS BEAT TWO TENS, OR A FULL HOUSE BEATS A PAIR. THE RANKING OF
- HANDS IS BY STANDARD POKER RULES.

- IF A PLAYER CAN CAPTURE AT LEAST ONE SQUARE ON THE BOARD WITH HIS HAND, HE MUST.
- A PLAYER MAY CAPTURE A SQUARE HE ALREADY HOLDS.

- GAME:
- FIRST PLAYER TO CONTROL ANY 4 SQUARES IN A ROW, HORIZONTAL/VERTICAL/DIAGONAL,
- WINS THE GAME. EACH OTHER PLAYER THEN PAYS THE WINNER A NUMBER OF CHIPS EQUAL
- TO THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE NUMBER OF PIGS THE WINNER HAS ON THE BOARD AND THE
- NUMBER THEY HAVE ON THE BOARD. IN THE EVENT THAT A PLAYER HAS MORE PIGS ON THE
- BOARD THAN THE WINNER, THE WINNER HAS TO PAY HIM DOUBLE!

- DROPPING & JOINING:
- AFTER EACH GAME PLAYERS MAY DROP OUT OR JOIN IN BY TELLING THE BANK.

- WON IF IT IS ADJACENT TO SOME SQUARE THAT IS ALREADY CONTROLLED BY SOME PLAYER;
- WHEN THERE ARE NO CONTROLLED SQUARES ANY SQUARE CAN BE PICKED TO START OUT THE
- PUDDLE.

- SAME SEX OPTION:
- NORMALLY A CAPTURED SQUARE MAY BE BEATEN BY ANY HIGHER POKER HAND. WITH THIS
- OPTION THE POKER HAND MUST BE A HIGHER VALUE OF THE SAME TYPE, FOR EXAMPLE,
- STRAIGHT, FLUSH, FULL HOUSE. BUST HANDS, JACK HIGH OR NOT, ARE NOT ALLOWED.
- NOTE: WITH MORE THAN A FEW PLAYERS IT IS EASY FOR THIS GAME TO BECOME A
- DEADLOCK.

- ON ANY KEYBOARD PLAYER'S TURN HE MAY HIT THE "Q" OR "X" KEYS TO DECLARE A DRAW

- THE POKER HANDS, IN ORDER OF RANK (HIGH TO LOW), ARE AS FOLLOWS:

- MAY BE EITHER HIGH (A-K-Q-J-10) OR LOW (5-4-3-2-A).
