  30. SHORT DESCRIPTION:
  31. A tetris variant using colored balls that fall from the top of the screen.
  32. The object of the game is to play as long as you can and collect the most 
  33. points. Move and rotate the balls so they form groups of three or more of 
  34. the same color. When a group is formed, it is removed and the balls above 
  35. it drop down. 
  36. TOP-10 scores are maintained. Sound Blaster support for music, voices and
  37. special effect sounds. Win 95 or 98.

  40. LONG DESCRIPTION:
  41. Falling Balls v2.1 is one of Monty's Games from MG Software.  This Windows 
  42. game is a one player game of strategy.  It has some similarities to tetris. 
  43. As groups of balls fall from the top of the playing field, you must rotate 
  44. and flip them into position so they form groups of the same color. These
  45. groups are removed and balls from above fall. You can pause the game at any 
  46. time, and you will need to pause it in order to study the layout of the 
  47. playing field.  You will need to think about the placement of the groups, 
  48. especially for the harder difficulty levels.  
  49. A group must have the balls in a line, either horizontally, vertically or 
  50. diagonally. When you play the harder levels there will be more colors and 
  51. it will be harder to form the groups. If a group has 4 or 5 balls of the 
  52. same color all in a row, you will receive a BONUS.  If you have a BONUS, 
  53. you can hit the 'B' key and all the balls in the bottom row will change to 
  54. the bonus color and all newly formed groups will be removed. You receive 
  55. 'turn-ups' after a designated number of balls are successfully dropped. If 
  56. you have a 'turn-up' you can hit the 'T' key and the entire playing field 
  57. will turn upside down, fall to the floor and all new groups will be removed.
  58. If you turn on 'CISCOS CAVE' you will be shown the 'next group', but you 
  59. will earn half the points while 'CISCOS CAVE' is on.

  96. NOTE: If CTL3DV2.DLL is not already installed in the windows directory of  
  97. the users computer, the installation program will load it in. There are NO
  98. changes made to the autoexec.bat or config.sys files !!

  100. The Freeman-Teressa Installer is used to install this game. The game can be
  101. uninstalled from the "Remove.." icon in the "Monty's Games for Windows" group.

  103. This is NOT cripled software, but the registered version of Falling Balls 
  104. has all three degrees of difficulty enabled.
