  31. 1.  DESCRIPTION
  32. This program is two games in one.  ItÆs a race against the clock to find as 
  33. many words as you can from the randomly generated letters in the game 
  34. grid!  Use bonus points to help you with those hard to find words!  Design 
  35. your own Game Grids!  High scores help you track your progress for each 
  36. different game grid design!  Each game is different, even using the same 
  37. game grid, because of the randomly generated letters!

  39. The Bible Memorize game provides a fun way to memorize Scripture 
  40. verses!  You can manually type your favorite verses (from any translation) 
  41. into the database, and the computer will randomly select verses to quiz 
  42. you.  The words in the Scripture Verses will then be randomly added to the 
  43. playing grid.  Your goal is to find all of the words that create the Scripture 
  44. verse!  (There are creative ways in which you can turn this game into a 
  45. spelling quiz, dictionary definitions quiz, foreign language quiz, or many 
  46. other "flash card" style memorization teaching techniques. Examples are 
  47. preloaded.)

  49. The Bible Word Search game will make you more familiar with the 
  50. individual words that create the text of God's Word.  It is a fun way to 
  51. discover what words exist in the Bible and what words don't.  For example, 
  52. "automobile" is a valid word, but it is not found in the Bible.  However, 
  53. "ocean" is a valid word AND it is in the Bible.  You decide which books of 
  54. the Bible to use as the word dictionary!  Your goal is to find as many Bible 
  55. words as you can from the randomly generated letters in the game grid!

  57. 2.  USAGE AGREEMENT
  58. Honest time and effort has gone into making these programs as bug free as 
  59. possible. Unfortunately, there are a few individuals in the world that make 
  60. life miserable for the rest of us. I'm sure you would agree that we live in a 
  61. "get rich quick, suit happy world". Because of this, the following 
  62. agreement is required before using any program from Kingdom Software.

  64. Agreement:  Registration and/or use of this product does not give you 
  65. ownership of this program, but gives you license to use it.  This program is 
  66. provided "as is", with no warranty or guarantee.  Kingdom Software 
  67. disclaims any liability, damages, or losses caused by this program, even 
  68. when notification of problems have been received.  Using this program 
  69. indicates acceptance of this agreement.

  71. 3. PROGRAM REGISTRATION
  72. This program is Shareware.  There are no set fees required for registering 
  73. this program.  If you find the program useful, you only pay what you feel 
  74. the program is worth.  If you honestly can't afford anything, use the 
  75. program with our blessing!  We just ask that you register the program, 
  76. even if no money is sent.  At least 10% (before any expenses are paid) of 
  77. the money received will be tithed to God.

  79. The program provides a convenient registration window for typing the 
  80. needed information, printing the registration form, and printing the 
  81. envelope, if you have a printer.

  83. 4.  INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
  84. If you obtained this program as a zip file or a self-extracting .EXE zip file, 
  85. make sure that all files have been unzipped.  Files ending in .EXE can 
  86. simply be double clicked or Run.  Any files ending in .ZIP must be 
  87. unzipped using a commercial program such as PKZIP.

  89. Simply execute the SETUP.EXE program by double clicking on the file 
  90. using Windows Explorer, or use the Run command on the Start menu.  The 
  91. setup program will guide you through the installation process.
  92.  
  93. If you have an older version of this program, uninstall it first.  You must 
  94. move the Bibles.mdb file to a temporary directory or it will be deleted, and 
  95. you will loose any Bible Verses that you have entered, as well as high 
  96. scores.  You should also move any custom game grids (*.grd files) and 
  97. background images (*.bmp) that you have created to a temporary 
  98. directory, or they may be deleted.  Once, you install the new program, you 
  99. must run the program once before restoring your old database file.  Simply 
  100. copy your old database file over the new database file, and copy any 
  101. custom grids and images back into their original directory.

  122. The following is a list of all files that this program installs on your 
  123. computer.  The directory locations listed below are the default paths,
  124. and they may be different if you choose a different installation directory.  In 
  125. general, you should not manually delete these files.

  196. 8.  Uninstall Instructions
  197. To uninstall this program, you must use the Windows 95 Add/Remove 
  198. program.  Click the W95 "Start" button; choose "Settings", "Control 
  199. Panel".  Then double-click on the "Add/Remove Programs" icon.  Select 
  200. the "Bible Memorize and Bible Word Search" program, and click the 
  201. "Add/Remove" button.  During the uninstall process, there may be files that 
  202. generate a warning that they are shared program files.  If deleting these 
  203. files makes you nervous, simply ignore the delete request and leave the files 
  204. on your computer.  Leaving these files on your computer will not slow it 
  205. down but will consume a small amount of disk space.
  206.  
  207. If you created and saved grid designs or added new background images, 
  208. you will need to manually delete these files.  After deleting the files, you 
  209. will also need to delete the directories.
  210.  
  211. Additionally, there are three sections in the Windows Registry that can be 
  212. manually removed by yourself using Microsoft's Regedit.exe program.
  213.  
  214. WARNING, IT IS BEST THAT YOU LEAVE THE REGISTRY 
  215. ALONE.  Do not attempt to use the Regedit program unless you are 
  216. experienced using it.  You can corrupt the Registry, and totally ruin 
  217. Windows 95, possibly loosing data, forcing you to reinstall Windows 95 
  218. and all of your programs.  Leaving the Registry settings will not slow your 
  219. computer down, and only takes minimal hard drive space.

  221. The following Key can be deleted after you uninstall the program (See 
  222. above warning!):
