  3.  General HARDWARE and SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS for Visual Basic Programs         
  4. Microsoft Windows 3.0 +, running in standard or enhanced mode.    
  5. 80286 or higher microprocessor, 1 MB of memory & 3 1/2" floppy drive.   
  6. CGA, EGA, VGA, 8514, Hercules, or other display compatible with Windows.

  8. INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS:                                                         
  9. Insert disk in drive A (or whatever drive that your floppy is). 
  10. From your Windows Program Manager click on File and select Run.
  11. Type A:SETUP & press Enter. Follow the setup instructions on the screen. 
  12. (If your floppy is B, than type B:SETUP.)
  13.      The setup will install UMakZoo to C:\UMAKZOO unless you specify differently. The UMakZoo icon will be placed in a JR BEAR program group.

  16.     This software disk contains the program UmakZoo. It allows you to mix and match different picture parts of animals. The parts are icons and are not actual pictures. 
  17.     UMakZoo has three animal part sections for you to mix or match. The sections include: head, mid, and lower. Each of the three sections will have ten picture choices to choose from. When you have all three of the same animal selected, the name of the animal is displayed below the picture and (if you have a sound card installed) you will hear the animals name spoken. To use the UMakZoo software, click on the name of the picture in the category selected. The corresponding picture will be displayed in the box to the right of your selection.

  19.     UMakZoo has six menu options at the top of the screen. They can 
  20. be accessed by clicking the mouse on the menu title desired or by holding down the Alt key and the corresponding underlined letter in the title. Below are the menu titles.

  32. Warranty -----------------------  displays the UMakZoo warranty.

  34.       UMakHome -----------------  previews the UMakHome software.
  35.       UMakGirl -----------------  previews the UMakGirl software.
  36.       ButtFace -----------------  previews the ButtFace software.
  37. KnoUr preview ------------------  previews the KnoUr software series.

  39.   UMakZoo allows children to develop mouse skills and have fun making animals. Mix the animal parts to make a new animal!
