  13. This file provides information for Shareware Distributors, Disk Vendors,
  14. User Groups, Computer Clubs, and other similar parties who wish to
  15. distribute DynaMine.
  16.  
  17. Individual users who wish to distribute the DynaMine software package to
  18. friends or associates should refer to the USER.TXT text file for the
  19. complete information pertaining to them.
  20.  
  21. BBS SYSOPs should refer to the SYSOP.TXT file for the complete information
  22. pertaining to them.

  24. For a sample description that you may use to describe the product, please
  25. refer to the DESCRIBE.TXT text file.

  33.                          Distribution Requirements

  36. Computer Clubs and User Groups wishing to add the DynaMine software package
  37. to their disk library may do so in accordance with the distribution
  38. restrictions listed below.

  42. Limited Distribution License:

  45. As the exclusive copyright holder for DynaMine, Green Diamond Software
  46. authorizes distribution only in accordance with the following restrictions.

  49. 1) ASP Approved Vendors in good standing are hereby granted permission to
  50.    distribute the DynaMine software package.  Non-ASP member vendors must
  51.    request permission from Green Diamond Software prior to distributing
  52.    this software.
  53.  
  54. 2) The DynaMine software package consists of all of the files listed in the
  55.    PACKAGE.TXT text file.  If any files listed in the PACKAGE.TXT text
  56.    file, or the PACKAGE.TXT file itself, are missing, then the package is
  57.    not complete and distribution is forbidden.  Please contact Green
  58.    Diamond Software to obtain a complete package suitable for distribution.

  60. 3) The DynaMine software package - including all related program files and
  61.    documentation files - CANNOT be modified in any way and must be
  62.    distributed as a complete package, without exception.
  63.  
  64.    Small additions to the package, such as the introductory or installation
  65.    batch files used by many shareware disk vendors, or files created by the
  66.    DynaMine software itself, are acceptable.  An official shareware disk,
  67.    containing the complete DynaMine software package and a custom
  68.    installation program, may be obtained by contacting Green Diamond
  69.    Software.

  71. 4) No registered version of DynaMine may be distributed without a written
  72.    agreement from Green Diamond Software.  The main menu screen of the game
  73.    will identify the software as "shareware" if it has not been registered.

  75. 5) No price or other compensation may be charged for the DynaMine software
  76.    package.  A distribution fee may be charged for the cost of the
  77.    diskette, shipping and handling, as long as the total (per disk) does
  78.    not exceed $8.00 (US) in the U.S. and Canada, or $12.00 (US)
  79.    internationally.

  81. 6) The DynaMine software package cannot be "rented" or "leased" to others.
  82.  
  83. 7) Licensee of the DynaMine software package shall not use, copy, rent,
  84.    lease, sell, modify, decompile, disassemble, otherwise reverse engineer,
  85.    or transfer the licensed program except as provided in this agreement.
  86.    Any such unauthorized use shall result in immediate and automatic
  87.    termination of this license.

  89. 8) Registered users may possess only one registered version of DynaMine for
  90.    each registration fee paid to Green Diamond Software.  This restriction
  91.    includes any shareware versions of the software that have been converted
  92.    to registered versions.

  94. 9) The procedure for converting a shareware version of DynaMine to a
  95.    registered version is not public domain.  This information shall not be
  96.    distributed or revealed in any way to a non-registered user of the
  97.    software without permission from Green Diamond Software.

  101. Disk Sets & CD-ROMs:
  102. -------------------

  104. The DynaMine software package CANNOT be sold as part of some other
  105. inclusive package, nor can it be included in any commercial software
  106. packaging offer, without permission from Green Diamond Software.

  108. ASP Approved Vendors who wish to distribute the DynaMine software package
  109. as part of a collection (such as a CD-ROM package) may do so provided that
  110. all of the other restrictions are met.

  112. Vendors (non-ASP Vendor Members) who wish to distribute the DynaMine
  113. software package as part of a collection (such as a CD-ROM package) must
  114. obtain permission from Green Diamond Software prior to beginning such a
  115. distribution.

  119. Other Distribution Restrictions:

  122. + You may not list any of our products in advertisements, catalogs, or
  123.   other literature that describes our products as "FREE SOFTWARE".
  124.   Shareware is "Try-Before-You-Buy" software, it is not free.

  126. + U.S. Government Information:  Use, duplication, or disclosure by the U.S.
  127.   Government of the computer software and documentation in this package
  128.   shall be subject to the restricted rights applicable to commercial
  129.   computer software as set forth in subdivision (b)(3)(ii) of the Rights in
  130.   Technical Data and Computer Software clause at 252.227-7013 (DFARS
  131.   52.227-7013).  The contractor/manufacturer is Green Diamond Software,
