  4. 1) EXPLANATION:

  7. Gauss is the famous mind game of the 8 queens of Gauss: How to place eight 
  8. queens on a chess whitout anyone threaten to each other...
  9. Gauss is very simple to use: like a real game, choose the queen you want 
  10. to move, drag it and just drop it on a place where it's possible... that's
  11. the more difficult!

  13. 2) DISK CONTENTS:

  16. Files in the directory Gauss of this disk are the following:
  17.     - GAUSS.EXE      THE program!
  18.  
  19.     - GAUSS.DIZ      The usefullness of Gauss (for BBS...)
  20.     - GAUSS.DOC      This file!
  21.     
  22.     - GAUSS.TXT      The DOS and Windows Write format registred form you 
  23.     - GAUSS.WRI      are going to fill and send me as quick as possible
  24.              with US$4 (20FF)..!
  25.     
  26. It's better to locate the following files in your WINDOWS\SYSTEM
  27. directory but you can also keep them in the directory you install Gauss
  28.     
  29.     - VBRUN300.DLL  The Microsoft Visual Basic v3.00 library.
  30.  
  31.     - THREED.VBX    Microsoft Visual Basic v3.00 controls.

  34. 3) INSTALLATION:

  37. On your computer, type the following (Except C:\> which is a possible prompt)!

  39. C:\>MD GAUSS
  40. C:\>CD GAUSS
  41. C:\GAUSS>COPY A:\GAUSS\*.* (or COPY B:\GAUSS\*.*)
  42.  
  43. then on Windows, choose File/Execute and type C:\GAUSS\GAUSS.EXE
  44. or choose File/New then press OK and type for progam C:\GAUSS\GAUSS.EXE
  45. in order to install Gauss as an icon in an applications group.
