  14. 32 Card Bridge is the english version of the 'Belote BridgΘe' (named 
  15. after the supposed author Belot) which is the most popular card game
  16. played in France. The game is highly appealing because it requires 
  17. many skills such as reasoning, memory, and planning. Besides, an 
  18. exciting element of luck is provided by the random distribution of
  19. cards to each player as well as the ensueing card combinations.

  23. Some of the rules are common to the Bridge game:
  24. ò it is a partnership game for four players,
  25. ò each hand is divided into two major phases: the bidding and the play:
  26.     -during bidding you make a claim to the number of points you

  28.     -during play you try to make the contract that you bid.
  29. ò players may use some conventions when bidding,
  30. ò trump is the suit of the highest bid,
  31. ò a contract may be doubled and redoubled.

  35. ò the contract is commited for a number of points instead of a number
  36.   of tricks,

  67. menu.
