Running the Program
===================
The manual describes how to install and run the program. Briefly - the
overlay file (WF.OVR) must be in the default directory unless you have
installed the home directory:
1. Make the Word Fugue directory the default directory
2. Run Word Fugue by typing in WF
3. Install the home directory by F10 O G H to display the
default directory. Press ENTER to record it, followed by ESC to
return to the options menu, S to save the defaults, and then
press ESC 3 times to exit the pulldown menus and return to text
entry mode
These instructions may seem long winded, but they are operating a
pulldown menu, and will be intuitively obvious when you try it.
To read the manual, simply load the files WF.001 to WF.018 into Word
Fugue and browse them. They will also show you how to set up a large
document consisting of several chapters, how to use ruler lines and
formatting and so on. If you need to print the manual, make sure you
have plenty of paper in your printer, load WF.DOC into Word Fugue,
press Ctrl K P to activate the print manual, select an appropriate PDF
file (Which printer will show you a list to choose from), and press P
to commence printing.
Registering
===========
The program is distributed as shareware, which means that unless you
have paid a registration fee of $65 (Australia Dollars), you are
merely trying it to see if you like it. Registered users receive the
latest version of the program, as well as a printed and bound 190 page
manual that describes features more fully. The manual is organized by
subject matter, making it easy for the user to find what they need.
Refer to ORDER.FRM for more information.
In addition, if you register, you receive news of updates, you get to
pester me with questions and request new features. Our policy on
updates is that they are available at a reduced price (basically to
cover costs), although users who suggest changes (or find bugs)
receive a free update.
We are committed to the philosophy of "Good Software at the price of a
Textbook", so do please support your shareware authors and register.
The fees help us to continue to develop the program. Help stamp out
the High Price Rip Off of commercial software!
