Welcome to QEdit 1.39!
*** SEE THE FILE UPDATE.DOC FOR NEW FEATURES SINCE THE MANUAL WAS WRITTEN ***
You should have the following files on your diskette/in your archive:
Q.COM the editor. Only file required to run QEdit.
READ.ME this file.
UPDATE.DOC changes that didn't make it into the manual.
QEDIT.DOC the QEdit manual.
QCONFG.COM the configuration program.
MYKEY.DEF blank key definition file, used by qconfg.com.
QKEY.DEF the default key definition file.
WSKEY.DEF a you-know-who style key definition file.
Q.CMD alphabetical listing of commands.
Q.HLP functional listing of commands.
ORDERFRM.DOC handy order form.
OTHER.DOC other and recently announced products from SemWare.
PRESS.DOC overview/summary of QEdit.
SCODEL.DOC source code license agreement form.
CDEMO.COM If you're a Turbo Pascal programmer, then be sure and
DEMO.COM try out these demos. They show off an exciting new
WDEMO.COM subroutine library for Turbo Pascal, written by yours
truly, that, in the tradition of QEdit, is very small
and blazingly fast. The name of the product is Mach 2
for Turbo Pascal, and it is published by MicroHelp, Inc. Please run the
demo programs for further information. (NOT distributed in the bbs
version - takes up too much space!)
■ notes:
The ONLY file required to run QEdit is Q.COM - the others are not
required or used by the program.
QEdit comes pre-configured to work on a large range of monitors.
Because of this, the default colors are set up for a monochrome system.
If you have a color system and would like to edit in color, then run the
configuration program (QCONFG) and change the default colors.
Please, make sure you read the UPDATE.DOC in order to take full
advantage of the new commands/features in QEdit.
■ registration:
Remember, QEdit did NOT just "appear" without any work. We've worked
long and hard - and continue to do so - improving the program, plus we
offer telephone support and low cost upgrades to registered users. So

as to urge you to register your copy?
