SETTIME 1.3 & DTM 1.0 by Unique Software Registration($20.00)
SETTIME weighs in under 2K, 1303 bytes to be exact. SETTIME calls The
United States Naval Observatory modem, downloads one of USNO's time
strings and then sets your system time and date.
If SETTIME fails to force your modem to hangup, don't worry too much.
The United State Naval Observatory only allows each call to be 60
seconds long. Therefore they will drop carrier on your modem after 60
seconds.
DTM is a useful utility if you don't have a clock/calender yet or if
your battery backup clock is not working. The program is small (560
bytes), powerful, and simple as are the options you can enter on the
command line.
DTM (with no parameters) resets the Date and Time of the DTM file to
whatever you currently have set your computer. This is necessary for
DTM to be able to automatically set your computer's date and time when
you boot up your computer.
DTM ## (number of days to add) does four things. First, DTM read's its
own date and time. Second, DTM adds the number of days you specified to
the current date, adjusting the month and year if necessary. Third,
DTM sets your computer's date to this calculated date. And Fourth,
DTM sets it's own date to this new, calculated date.
