The Peruse package is too large to fit on a single diskette.
Because of this, the Peruse package has been "compressed" into
two self-extracting archive files - PERUSE1.EXE and PERUSE2.EXE.
When you run PERUSE1.EXE or PERUSE2.EXE, it will extract itself
into one or more files. The main READ.ME file is contained
within PERUSE1.EXE, please be sure to examine this file before
using Peruse. Thanks for trying Peruse (by the way, it's free)!
If you have a hard disk:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Simply copy the two .EXE files into the subdirectory of your
choice. Type "PERUSE1" <Enter> and the first file will extract
or "uncompress" itself. Then type "PERUSE2" <Enter> and the
second file will extract itself. You may then delete PERUSE1.EXE
and PERUSE2.EXE from your hard disk, as they will no longer be
needed.
If you have two floppy diskette drives:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Place the Peruse diskette in drive A: and a blank formatted
diskette in drive B:. Make B: the current drive by typing "B:"
<Enter>. Then type "A:PERUSE1" <Enter> and the main Peruse file
will uncompress itself onto the diskette in drive B:.
Once this is completed, place another blank formatted diskette in
drive B: and repeat the process for the second compressed file
(PERUSE2.EXE).
