Welcome to the Instant Access configuration program. This program
provides you with a way to configure all of the files necessary to run
Instant Access. We recommend that you modify the data files according
to the order they are listed in the following menu. More detailed help
is available with the documentation file that was included with this
archive.
Choices from this menu:
F1] Display this help screen.
F2] Modify the Main Menu (file MAIN.MEN).
F3] Modify the Sub Menus (file SUBMENU.MEN).
F4] Modify the Passwords (file PASS.MEN).
F5] General Configuration (files MENU.BAT and MENUS.CFG).
F6] Configure AutoExecute (file AUTORUN.MEN).
Esc] Exit to DOS
Furthermore, most of the configuration program consists of a menu
containing the items that you will be editing, and a status bar with
your available choices. Enjoy the program!

Welcome to the Main Menu configuration menu. In this area, you
will be defining the titles of the different sub menus. These are not
to be confused with the program definitions, which you will be able
to configure in another menu. Common definitions are on the order of
Utilities, Word Processors, or any types of programs that you use.
Choices Available:
A - T] Define the title of choice A to T. When you enter one of these
letters, a line will appear, and prompt you to edit the current
(or enter a new) description for that choice.
F1] This Help Screen.
F2] This command allows you to save the changes you have made to
disk (file MAIN.MEN). If MAIN.MEN already exists, its contents
will be over-written.
Esc] Return to the Opening Screen. Changes will not be saved.
@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@
Welcome to the Sub Menu Selector. In this area, you will be
selecting the Sub Menu that you wish to configure. If you have
previously configured the Main Menu, you will see the titles that you
entered there listed here in order from A to T.
Choices Available:
A - T] Selecting a letter from A to T allows you to define the
programs within the Sub Menu title chosen. As an example: If
choice A was defined as Utilities, and you choose it, you would
then define the programs that constitute your utilities.
F1] This Help Screen.
Esc] Returns you to the Opening Screen.

Welcome to the Program Configuration Help Screen. In this area
you will be defining the programs that will reside within this Sub
Menu. To do this, you will need to provide a description of the
program, a complete path, and the executionary name of the program
(with the actual extension). For example: If you had a program named
WordPerfect (a great word processing program), and you wanted to
define it as choice A, it might look like this:
A] Word Perfect ver 5.0 C:\WORD WP.EXE
(A) (B) (C)
Part A: The Description of the Program.
Part B: The Full Path, including a Drive letter, a colon, and a slash.
Part C: The full name of the file, including an extension. This must
be .EXE, .COM or .BAT (or none if its an internal DOS command)
Note: Instant Access will validate that the directory and file
actually exists. The program will search for the file in the
directory you specified as well as the PATH statement.

In addition to a description, path, and name, you may provide
some additional information for added power. This includes command
line parameters, a password, and a pause option.
Command Line : The first character here must be a N, R or S. N means
that you wish no parameters. R means that you wish to
be prompted when the program runs. If you select S, you
may follow it with up to 25 characters which will be
used for a command line when the program runs.
Password : You may enter a five character case sensitive password.
Pause : Y to pause after the program runs, N to not pause.
A - T] Define the Description, Path, and Full name for the program.
F1] This Help Screen.
F2] Save changes to disk. This command will save all changes to a
file named SUBMENU.MEN.
F3] Clear entry. This command will blank a range of entries.
Esc] Exit to the Sub Menu Selector. The changes made will NOT be
saved to disk, and will NOT remain in memory!
