<password>
Enter your six character password to access EZ MENU.
<start >
To select a command from the command bar, highlight the
first letter of the command by pressing an Alt key and
then select a corresponding highlighted letter. Select
a program from the menu with the arrow keys and press Enter.
To select a program from the menu or a command from the
command bar using a mouse, place the mouse cursor over the
item and click the left mouse button. To enter the Datebook-
Calendar area, choose Datebook. To custom configure EZ MENU,
colors and menu definitions, choose Configure. To leave
EZ MENU, choose Quit or F10.
<datetime>
The Set Date/Time function sets the internal "system" time
of the computer. This is equivalent to using the MS-DOS
"time" and "date" commands. All dates are entered in a
mm/dd/yy format with mm = 1-12; dd = 1-31; and
yy = 91 - 79 (1991 through 2079). All times are entered in
a hh:mm:ss format with hours = 0-23; minutes = 0-59; and
ss = 0-59.
<keylock >
To lock the keyboard, enter three unique key combinations or "password".
Hit the Escape or Enter keys to abort the key lock process before the
final key is entered. The password may contain a combination of CTRL+key,
ALT+key and SHIFT+key, i.e ALT+F10. For a complex password, you could
have for example ALT+F10,CTRL+A, SHIFT+INSERT. It is wise to choose a
password that you will remember, however.
To unlock the keyboard, enter the three unique key combination. If
you make a mistake, hit the Escape key or the Enter key and start over.
<locked >
The keyboard is locked out. You
must enter a three key combination
to unlock the keyboard.

By answering Yes, you will permanently delete your record
from disk. Answer No if you do not want to permanently
delete your record. Periodic deleting of old records will
reduce the size of the datebook data file on disk.
<printer >
Make sure that your printer is set up the way that you want
the text to be printed, i.e Bold, Condensed etc. EZ MENU
sets an 8 character margin. After setting up your printer,
press ENTER to start printing. Press ESC to abort printing.
Set the printer to start printing at the top of the page.
You will have enough room for two consecutive printed
entries per page with room for notes.

the text. You will remain in the editor mode however. If you
want to actually delete the datebook entry from disk, first
clear the page, then save the blank entry. EZ MENU does not
save empty pages to disk. The space will then be used by the
next datebook entry. You may also delete an entry by selecting
Delete when not in the editor mode.
<editsave>
