  5. 1. From this version of QuickEd, all of the options can be used in the
  6.    unregistered version, except two: the name of the BBS, and the recognition
  7.    of the name of the user on-line. These options include :
  8.    for all users (non-privileged users)
  9.      Find & replace (^QF, ^QA)
  10.      Message upload (^KX ^KY ^KZ, auto Zmodem upload) - sysop selectable
  11.      Store/Retrieve last message (^KO, ^KI)
  12.    privileged options: (must press  Alt-P for Privileged mode first)
  13.      Export/Import text file  (^KO, ^KI)
  14.      Keyboard macros (^K1 - ^K9)

  18. 2. Upgrading procedure:
  19.  
  20.    The upgrade procedure is automatic, but two items should be checked
  21.    for their proper values:
  22.  
  23.    a. Setup/Log file option - set the name of your log file. The default
  24.       name is SYSTEM.LOG, which applies to QuickBBS and is the default of
  25.       RemoteAccess. This file should not have a path when using multiline
  26.       system, so for every line it will be looked for in the current
  27.       directory. See the documentation for further information.

  29.    b. Setup/Upload options/Command line - The installation program has
  30.       default parameters for DSZ, but it will not apply them if you have
  31.       changed the parameters line used by QuickEd version 1.10. The line
  32.       for DSZ Zmodem should be "port *P speed *S rz *F" (or "rx" or "ry"
  33.       for x/y modem)
