  1. S)can: The "S" command reviews the messages.  Scan displays, on a single
  2. line for each message, the message number, the date the message was
  3. created, who it is too, who it is from, and the topic of the message.  You
  4. can specify criteria for what messages to scan.  The most common useful
  5. options are:

  7.   S (or *) =  forward from where you last read
  8.   L        =  read backwards from Last Message
  9.   F        =  read just the mail From you
  10.   T        =  read just the mail To you specifically (or to ALL)
  11.   M        =  your mail specifically addressed to you
  12.   xxxx-    =  backward from message number xxxx
  13.   xxxx+    =  forward from message number xxxx
  14.   <text>   =  only messages with <text> in the subject/to/from fields

  18. 1. You can rapidly identify the messages you would like to read with the
  19. S)can and P)ersonal mail commands.
