-=( RA Pong 1.5 )=-
Author Gerhard Hoogterp
(C) Copyrights LiveSystems 1991, 1992
Release 21 April 1991
What's RA-Pong:
RA Pong is the RA door implementation of the old game PONG. (Sweet memories)
It's freeware (BUT I keep the copyrights) and it's all yours! Just by
downloading it...!
Share it, use it.. but DON'T sell it or make money out of it in any way!!
This one is FREE for everybody!
Installation is simple:
Make an Menu entry type 7 with the following parameters:
<Path>\RA-PONG.EXE -T:*T [-N:*N] [-P:*P] [-NOS] [-Balls:<NoBalls>]
You always should use the -T:*T parameter to limit the users time,
-N:*N and -P:*P are optional for multiline BBSses (Which RA-PONG completely
supports!)
-NOS can be added to turn the music and sounds off for default (and that's
probably what you want with this game..;-)
-Balls:<NoBalls> defines the number of balles a user gets per game. Default
is 3 balls.
You can make ANS/AVT/ASC files with the names PONGHI and PONGBYE which will
be show before entering and after leaving the door..
Put them in the same directory as RA_Pong.hlp
If you're running multiline on a network which already implements filelocking
internaly, you can overrule the internal SHARE checking by adding the line
USESHARE=OFF
To your environment. Be sure what you're doing!! This turns off all the
recordlocking. Sharebits are still used to open files though..
This works for all my doors and other doors written with the RADoor
doorwriters package.
Some other features:
- ANSI and AVT/0+
- Ansi Music remote and local
- Multiline awear
- Desqview awear
- Logs to the RA logfile
- Time/carrier check build in
As I said, this program is freeware.. Use it as you like. I only wrote it for
the fun of it and because I feld that with all those online-arcades these
days I couldn't stay behind... ;)
For the legalties:
Use this program at your own risk, never will I be held responsible for
any damage resulting from the usage of this program! As the word goes:
If you breake it, ya own 2 pieces....
Enjoy!
