  12. 1.  Instructions on printing documentation:

  14. The GB.DOC file, which is the Giftbase Manual, is meant to be printed off on a
  15. dot matrix printer in IBM mode.  Send a condensed code and an 8 vertical lines
  16. per inch code to the printer before printing.   If you have a fixed tractor
  17. feed printer, you may also want to offset the document from left about 20
  18. spaces with a macro within your word processor.

  24. It prints out about 100 pages.

  26. Note:  I use Multiprint 4.0, by Gerry Doyon, to print out the documentation.
  27. It gives you an "at a glance" visual indication of where you are in the
  28. printing of the document.  Try it.

  31. 2.  Instructions for registering your copy of Giftbase:

  33. There are several ways to register, choose the one that is best for you:

  35.     1.  Full Registration, with printed manual:       $ 50.00 US
  36.         includes:

  38.         a.  The printed manual.
  39.         b.  Latest version of Giftbase on diskettes.
  40.         c.  A diskette containing other programs that I have written.
  41.         d.  Automatic notification of future releases.
  42.         e.  Telephone support.
  43.         f.  My permission to use the version you have as outlined in the
  44.             licensee agreement.
  45.         g.  My thanks for your integrity, and for supporting my software.

  47.     2.  Full Registration, with manual on disk:       $ 35.00 US

  50.     3.  Bare Bones Registration:                      $ 20.00 US

  55.     a.  Fill out the registration form in REGISTER.NOW text file.
  56.     b.  Fill out a check for one of the above, made payable to NEWLIFE
  57.         Software.
  58.     c.  If you want Security in your version of Giftbase, fill out work
  59.         sheets in Security.DOC and send an additional $25.00.  This is
  60.         entirely optional, and available only on full registrations.

  79. Ctrl-F9.

  82. starting Giftbase for the first time:

  86. If you received Giftbase on diskettes, it came with an installation program
  87. that did this for you.
