  1. Users of TheDraw note:   Some computers (such as the Tandy 1000A and HX)
  2. have non-standard keyboard hardware that does not work with TheDraw.
  3.  
  4. If your computer appears to operate strangly when running TheDraw (ie: locks
  5. up or otherwise starts searching for the meaning of life), do the following:
  6.  
  7.                     SETUP * [ENTER]
  8.  
  9. The SETUP utility will work as always afterwards.  You must specify the name
  10. of the EXE file to "setup", before the fix takes place.  After entering the
  11. filespec, SETUP will verify the state of the keyboard driver.  SETUP then
  12. proceeds to the normal edit display.  Exit SETUP as always responding "Y" to
  13. the "Save Changes" prompt.

  15. The asterisk tells the SETUP utility to completely deactivate the special
  16. keyboard driver within TheDraw.  This will make the program operate properly,
  17. although you may lose usage of CTRL-UP and DOWN keystrokes.  If problems
  18. persist,  please write describing the problem and include a listing of your
  19. hardware.  Thanks!

  23. TheDraw is now distributed with a new utility program:
  24.  
  25. PRINTDOC.EXE is a program to print the documentation for TheDraw.  Some
  26. people using Epson or similar printers find the IBM extended characters
  27. appearing throughout the documentation cause problems.  PRINTDOC can
  28. optionally filter these characters.  You can also start printing from any
  29. page (in case some disaster befalls you on page 72...)  Enjoy!
