  33.   screen display, word processing, and

  37.   Function Keys
  38.  
  39.   F1=HELP: Provides a description of 
  40.   each Command Line function and any 
  41.   function keys unique to the 
  42.   particular screen which is active at 
  43.   the time. 
  44.  
  45.   F2=PRT VER: Prints the current verse 
  46.   (normally the one at the top of the 
  47.   screen). If there is no verse 
  48.   displayed, this key is inactive. The 
  49.   verse is printed in accordance with 
  50.   selected print options.
  51.  
  52.   F3=MENU: Terminates current 
  53.   operation and returns to the next 
  54.   higher level menu. Opportunity is 
  55.   provided to save any modified files.
  56.  
  57.   F4=EXIT: Causes an immediate exit to 
  58.   DOS. Opportunity to save any changes 
  59.   will be provided.
  60.  
  61.   F5=RANGE: Allows the modification of 
  62.   the current range of scripture. 
  63.  
  64.   F6=REF: Allows entry of and 
  65.   immediate access to a direct 
  66.   scripture reference. Slightly 
  67.   different between modes.

  69.   F7=DISK: Allows the currently active 
  70.   or default disk drive ID to be 
  71.   displayed on the message line and 
  72.   modified if desired.

  74.   F8=TEXT: Allows the scripture text 
  75.   to be displayed for a list of 
  76.   references. Scripture may be 
  77.   displayed with or without contextual 
  78.   verses. F8 works in the toggle mode, 
  79.   therefore, pressing it the second 
  80.   time will switch back to the 
  81.   references only. Available only in 
  82.   the Concordance Mode.

  85.   Scripture Mode Functions

  87.   Display - Displays a full screen of 
  88.   Bible text starting with the 
  89.   beginning of the scripture range. 
  90.   The verse at the top of the screen 
  91.   is listed as the Curr: (current) 
  92.   verse on the Status Line. All cursor 
  93.   control keys (arrow keys, Home, 
  94.   PgUp, etc.) are functional at this 
  95.   time. Useful Keys:
  96.  
  97.    o F2 prints current verse from   
  98.      screen.
  99.    o F6 allows entry of a reference 
  100.      for immediate display on screen.
  101.  
  102.   Scan - Scans the current range for 
  103.   selected key words or phrases. Upon 
  104.   finding an occurrence, the verse is 
  105.   displayed at the top of the screen 
  106.   with the key word(s) or phrase(s) 
  107.   highlighted. Pressing ENTER will 
  108.   resume the search. Notification is 
  109.   given when entire range has been 
  110.   scanned.

  112.   Browse - Displays scripture text one 
  113.   character at a time starting with 
  114.   the current reference. Browse speed 
  115.   may be adjusted by using the up and 
  116.   down arrow keys. Browse may be 
  117.   stopped and resumed by pressing the 
  118.   space bar.

  122.   Concordance Mode Functions
  123.  
  124.   Edit - Allows changes to be made to 
  125.   a concordance file. You may add, 
  126.   delete, or change references as you 
  127.   wish. Useful Keys:
  128.  
  129.    o Del (delete) deletes a reference.
  130.    o Ins inserts a reference.
  131.    o F2 prints current verse on 
  132.      screen.
  133.    o F6 locates a reference.
  134.    o F8 displays scripture text   
  135.      (On/Off).
  136.  
  137.   Print - Allows printing of 
  138.   concordance file for either 
  139.   references only or references with 
  140.   scripture text. Prints in accordance 
  141.   with options selected in the Print 
  142.   Options section of the Odds & Ends 
  143.   mode. Useful Keys:
  144.  
  145.    o Esc causes printing to terminate. 
  146.    o Ctrl + NumLock causes printing to   
  147.      pause.
  148.    o Pressing any key causes printing 
  149.      to resume.

  151.   Create - Allows the generation of a 
  152.   new concordance file. Once the file 
  153.   name (8 characters max) and title 
  154.   (80 characters max) have been 
  155.   entered, the choice of creation by 
  156.   scan or freeform reference entry is 
  157.   available. Scan creates the file 
  158.   automatically based on the key words 
  159.   or phrases entered. Freeform allows 
  160.   entry of any references. After 
  161.   selection is made, the file is 
  162.   displayed in the Edit mode. For 
  163.   Freeform, you enter desired 
  164.   references. If created by Scan, you 
  165.   may review the references and change 
  166.   any desired.
  167.  
  168.   Merge - Allows the combining of 
  169.   existing files by 1) combining 
  170.   references from both files with 
  171.   duplicates removed and 2) merging 
  172.   only those verses exclusive or 
  173.   common to both files. The new file 
  174.   is sorted automatically.
  175.  
  176.   Sort - Sorts an existing file in 
  177.   book, chapter, verse order.
  178.  
  179.   Remove - Deletes a file from the 
  180.   currently active diskette.
  181.  
  182.   Duplicate - Creates an identical 
  183.   copy of an existing file. A new name 
  184.   must be given to the copy. It must 
  185.   be unique to the active disk. A new 
  186.   title is optional.

  189.   Word Processing Functions 
  190.  
  191.   Edit - Allows changes to be made to 
  192.   any document on the active disk. All 
  193.   cursor control keys (arrow keys, 
  194.   Home, PgUp, etc.) are active. Insert 
  195.   (Ins) and delete (Del) keys perform 
  196.   their indicated function for text 
  197.   editing. The F6 key will insert 
  198.   scripture references. Useful Keys:
  199.  
  200.    o Ctrl + Home goes to top of file. 
  201.    o Ctrl + End goes to bottom of 
  202.      file.
  203.    o Ctrl + Right Arrow moves portion 
  204.      of line below cursor up to and       
  205.      starting at cursor. The portion 
  206.      is equal to the amount of space       
  207.      available on the top line.
  208.    o Ctrl + Y deletes line.
  209.    o Pressing ENTER with Insert ON   
  210.      and cursor in column 1 inserts      
  211.      blank line below cursor.
  212.    o Pressing ENTER with Insert ON    
  213.      and cursor beyond column 1 splits
  214.      line at the cursor.

  216.   Print - Prints the currently active 
  217.   document using the print parameters 
  218.   specified in Print Options. Useful
