  3. Thank you for ordering the Petroleum Engineer Tool Kit Programs.  
  4. The magazine series will cover twelve programs in four sections.  
  5. All twelve programs will fit on one disk instead of the four 
  6. indicated in the article.  In case you might be disappointed about 
  7. not receiving four separate disks with only three or four programs 
  8. on each disk I have included an additional six programs that will 
  9. not be covered in the series.  (Those ordering less than the four 
  10. disks will also receive a respectively smaller number).

  12. These programs are on a 360K data disk which should be copied to 
  13. another disk or your hard disk.  These programs were designed to 
  14. work with Lotus 123 version 2.0 but could be converted to other 
  15. spread sheet formats.

  17. I hope you enjoy using these programs and that they will aid you in 
  18. your engineering tasks.  Please forward any comments or suggestions 
  19. to the Petroleum Engineer Magazine that you think helpful when using 
  20. these programs and I will consider (with the Editor's permission) 
  21. including them in future articles.

  23. These programs are not copy protected and can be shared with others.  
  24. I would ask that if you did not order a set of programs through the 
  25. Petroleum Engineer Magazine that you do so.  This action 
  26. accomplishes three things  1)It puts you on a mailing list that will 
  27. be used to inform you of any corrections or new programs, 
  28. 2)It encourages me to keep writing new  programs and 3)It will prove 
  29. to my wife that I might one day pay off my computer.  These programs 
  30. are not to be used for commercial gain of any kind without the writ-
  31. ten permission of the author (me).

  33. You would have to admit that these programs represent one of the best 
  34. values in Petroleum software (at $2.25 per program).  I sincerely hope 
  35. that you will enjoy them.
