  1. ARTISOFT OPENS NEW EUROPEAN DIVISION
  2. Artisoft Europe Based in the United Kingdom

  4. (TUCSON, Ariz. -- April 10, 1991) -- Artisoft announced today
  5. it's recent opening of an Artisoft Europe Division based in
  6. the United Kingdom.  Bill Butt is the Vice President of Sales
  7. & Marketing for Artisoft Europe and responsible for developing 
  8. and managing marketing and distribution strategies.

  10. "LANtastic has been doing very well throughout Europe with
  11. our international distributors. We've added this new division
  12. to address their needs and fulfill the tremendous potential
  13. of that market," said Jack Schoof, Artisoft's President and
  14. CEO.

  16. Bill Butt and his sales/marketing group spent nine days in
  17. March at the CeBIT Computer Show in Hanover, Germany meeting
  18. with potential international distributors interested in selling 
  19. LANtastic.  "The recognition of and demand for LANtastic is 
  20. even greater than we'd anticipated," said Bill Butt.  "We 
  21. expect to significantly expand and strengthen our position 
  22. in the European Marketplace.

  24. Before coming to Artisoft, Bill Butt was the Managing
  25. Director for the NEXOS Local Area Networking Division of DSC
  26. Communications Corporation in England.  He was responsible
  27. for worldwide operations including product development and
  28. manufacturing.
