INSTALL FASTFILE ON A HARD DISK or LOAD IT FROM A FLOPPY DISK

LEARN BY DOING EXERCISES
Fastfile comes with sample files already programmed and ready to
use. All you must do is figure out how to move the cursor, enter
data, and enter commands. A MENU IS ALWAYS DISPLAYED (IN
RED) AT THE BOTTOM OF EACH SCREEN. WHEN SEARCHES ARE SPECIFIED
THE SELECTION SPECIFIERS (*WLD ?ANY >, etc) ARE DISPLAYED AS THE
SECOND LINE FROM THE BOTTOM. Always keep your eyes on these
continuous help menu's. Several learn by doing exercises are provided
to give you experience. Each exercise starts with step (a) and
proceeds through the alphabet. You should be able to work all
exercises in a few minutes.

FASTquiz EXERCISES
The sample file FASTquiz includes questions with answers that
will save you time. So please work the following exercises even
though you may not have a need to make tests.
FASTquiz has special scrambling features, and allows multiple
choice, TRUE/FALSE, and essay questions. You may even create a
MATCHING test from the list of questions.
To begin the exercise please load the FASTquiz file. The
exercises below assume you have worked the checks exercises and
are familiar with moving the FASTFILE cursor.
1st INVESTIGATE Q & Answers
