SLEARN v1.10 Paul Roub REGISTRATION $10.00
COMM JUL90 ROUB TELIX SALT SCRIPT
FILES: slrn-110.sdn
Update
SLEARN (the SALT learn utility) v1.10 is a logon script (and
more) "learn program" for Telix. SLEARN lets you create
scripts simply by logging on and showing the program what you
want to do. No function keys to press, no "modes" to figure
out -- all much faster, more reliably and more auto-
matically than others you may have seen. From the author of
TFE (TelixFonEd).
SLEARN completely automates the process of writing simple
Telix scripts -- figuring out the prompts and responses
needed for the script; sending your password with one key;
compiling the script; inserting the script's name in your
Telix dialing directory; even guessing the script's name for
you!
SLEARN-generated scripts get your password from Telix when-
ever possible -- this keeps your password out of the script
file, and lets you use the scripts on more than one system.
SLEARN scripts can also (optionally) display the name of the
system you're connected to, on Telix's status line.
Simply log on to the system in question as usual, while
SLEARN watches over your shoulder. When you're through,
SLEARN writes the logon script FOR you, compiles it, and even
places its name in your dialing directory -- the next time
you call that system, the script is run automatically, and
logs on without your intervention!
Version 1.10 adds support for COM3 through COM8, high-speed
modems, 43- and 50-line modes, built-in ANSI emulation, and
more!
Hardware Requirements: IBM compatible, 128k RAM, modem.
Other Requirements: Telix communications software v3.10
(or higher), from Exis, Inc.
