Envoy Communications v1b REGISTRATION $40.00
COMM MAR90 ENVOY COMMUNICATIONS EDITOR FILE TRANSFER
FILES: envoy100.sdn
New Release
Envoy is a complete communications program. Envoy includes
many advanced features such as :
o Terminal communications
Communications parameters are easily set by using the
Envoy menu, by entering script commands, or by setting up
a command file. Envoy allows you to edit text you have
received before writing to disk and to create messages to
send to a remote computer.
o A complete text editor
The editor includes all standard editing functions. You
can reconfigure the Envoy editor by redefining the MACRO
commands which are assigned to the keys at startup. You
can execute a sequence of edit commands by pressing a
single key. You can execute all of the commands in a
file by pressing a single key. You can even assign DOS
commands to a key so that pressing a single key will
execute another program from inside the Envoy.
o File transfer
Envoy supports the most common file transfer protocols :
XMODEM, XMODEM CRC, 1K XMODEM, and YMODEM. You can
attach and run external protocols from inside Envoy.
o Infinite capture buffer
The editor uses all available memory up to 640 Kb so that
you can edit very large files. When you are
communicating with a remote computer, incoming text is
stored using all available memory.
o A versatile script language
The Envoy command language is easy to use. It includes
advanced flow control logic including IF...ELSE... and
JUMP commands. You can pass parameters to a command file
and can assign a command file to a keyboard key. This
allows you to automate your logon.
o Chain to DOS
o Source Code
The source code for the ENVOY program is available for a
fee. Turbo C and Turbo Pascal implementations are
available. You may modify the source code to build a
custom version of the ENVOY code for your own use. You
may not distribute the source code or any modified
version of the ENVOY code.
Hardware Requirements :
IBM PC compatible, 256 Kb RAM, 1 floppy drive, Serial
Port, Modem. Envoy has been tested on PS/2, AT, XT, PC,
PCjr, and several clones.
