  1. License Agreement

  3. Copyright 1985-1988, by Quickview Systems for this software, the
  4. software documentation and the user interface.  Patents no.
  5. 4,736,308 and 4,486,857 also apply.

  7. Quickview Systems grants a license to reproduce, distribute, and
  8. use copies of this shareware version of Zoomracks including the
  9. on-disk documentation under the express condition you do not
  10. receive payment, commercial benefit, or other consideration for
  11. such reproduction or distribution or change this license
  12. agreement or copyright notice.
  13.  
  14. The commercial and non-commercial distribution of information
  15. along with the shareware version of Zoomracks as a supporting
  16. platform is encouraged and permitted; as is the use of Zoomracks
  17. as a supporting platform for non-commercial applications.
  18.  
  19. However, the distribution or use of Zoomracks as the platform for
  20. commercial applications which, in the sole opinion of Quickview
  21. Systems, are not primarily for information distribution or
  22. non-commercial are not permitted under this license.

  24. Users are encouraged to use Zoomracks at no charge for (a) general
  25. evaluation and (b) accessing, searching, distributing, and printing
  26. information provided by others in Zoomracks format.
  27.  
  28. After an intial evaluation, Users who use Zoomracks for the entry,
  29. organization, or modification of information, are required to register
  30. their copy of Zoomracks.  Registered users are provided with a copy of
  31. Zoomracks including a manual, technical support, and are put on a
  32. mailing list to be notified of updates and Zoomracks based products.

  34. Quickview Systems reserves the right to terminate or modify the rights
  35. granted to any or all parties by this license provided it gives one
  36. years notice by registered letter to any parties concerned or by a
  37. public announcement.

  39. ZOOMRACKS IS DISTRIBUTED AND LICENSED "AS IS." ALL
  40. WARRANTIES,EITHER EXPRESSOR IMPLIED, ARE DISCLAIMED AS TO THE
  41. SOFTWARE AND ITS QUALITY, PERFORMANCE, OR FITNESS FOR ANY
  42. PARTICULAR PURPOSE.  YOU,THE CONSUMER, BEAR THE ENTIRE RISK
  43. RELATING TO THE QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE OF THE SOFTWARE.  IN NO
  44. EVENT WILL QUICKVIEW OR HYPERRACKS BE LIABLE FOR DIRECT,
  45. INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY
  46. DEFECT IN THE SOFTWARE.  IF THE SOFTWARE PROVES TO HAVE DEFECTS,
  47. YOU ASSUME THE COST OF ANY NECESSARY SERVICING OR REPAIRS.
