  29. I know there are many files written on CBI's but i really didnt find any really
  30. usefull cause they didnt go into real detail so i decided i write this little
  31. article for begginers on CBI's.  There are five service's available to cbi
  32. users They include Arcofile, Arcofile-Plus, Safe-Scan, DTEC, and a On-Line
  33. Directory. Here are some meanings of what all those abrv. on CBI's mean:

  100. The account format for CBI's are:
  101. xxxyyxx-yx or xxxyyxxxx-yx
  102. x= numbers y=letters

  104. There are many extensions you can add ALWAYS add DFZ
  105. for example:
  106. xxxyyxxxx-yx,user,DFZ.
  107. where it says user type any old names it makes it look more authentic
  108.  
  109. if you type that extension you will get the persons fone # at the end of the
  110. credit report.

  133. Getting the EXPIRATION DATE from the EQUIFAX Report..
  134.  
  135.  This is an important task if one is to use the information to card himself
  136.  or herself something. To obtain the correct EXPIRATION DATE you must use
  137.  our method.  Everyone tells you to add two years to the RPTD column but they
  138.  are wrong.
  139.  
  140.  First you need a working credit card validator. Here is one I have had, but
  141.  it is also in the RL (Renegade Legion) file.
  142.  
  143.  Dialup:1+800+554-2265
  144.         Bank:     1067 #
  145.         Merchant: 52 #
  146.         Type:     xx #  (10 = MC / 20 = Visa)
  147.         Amount:   100 # (1.00)
  148.         Exp. Date:0193 #
  149.  
  150.   Alright.. Now look at the column labeled OPND. Take the Month from that and
  151.   write that down. That is your month for the EXP Date. Now look at the RPTD
  152.   column. Take that year and write it down.  That is your "could be" year..
  153.   If the card is EXPIRED already add two years two it. Call the Credit Card
  154.   Validator and try it. If it doesnt work, then change the EXP and only add
  155.   one year to the orginal date.. Some peoples visa/mastercard are an EVEN
  156.   year while others are ODD.. If the even one doesnt work then it is the
  157.   ODD..

  159.   Basically that is all you need too know about CBI to use it to your benifeit.
  160.   Now have fun and DO NOT CALL IT STAIGHT! Call it thru Tymnet or Some other
  161.   type of OD system.
