  14.      To help us expand our role as NCC, we will be changing the
  15. status reporting facility of the IMP.  The change will take place
  16. within the next month and should be transparent to the hosts.
  17.  
  18.      The text status reports will be removed.  They have already
  19. been completely superseded by a binary version sent directly to
  20. the NCC and are now just excess baggage.
  21.  
  22.      The status reports will remain with the statistics program
  23. on fake host 3, but will no longer be affected by any of the
  24. PARAMETER CHANGE parameters.  This will prevent the Hosts from
  25. inadvertently interfering with the operation of the NCC.
