  14. Taking advantage of the FJCC in Houston, I have scheduled a meeting of
  15. the Network Working Group in room Astro VII of the Astroworld Hotel at
  16. 8:00 p.m.  on Monday, November 16, 1970.
  17.  
  18. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss several topics related to
  19. the practical use of the network. I have in mind:
  20.  
  21.       (a) accounting mechanisms
  22.  
  23.       (b) documentation distribution
  24.  
  25.       (c) person-to-person message sending and message storing
  26.  
  27.       (d) access to systems by foreign users
  28.  
  29. Attendees are invited to raise other topics.
  30.  
  31. I envision that this meeting will spawn smaller subsidiary meetings
  32. during the FJCC to pursue these or related topics.

  34. Prospective attendees should notify my secretary Benita Kirstel (213)
  35. 825-2368 so that we can be sure the room is large enough. Unexpected
  36. attendees are nevertheless invited.
