  254. 4.04) Can I get on-line National ISDN information from Bellcore?
  255.  
  256. Information about National ISDN is now available by anonymous FTP (File
  257. Transfer Protocol) over the Internet at host "info.bellcore.com". FTP
  258. allows the retrieval of formatted documents and software.
  259.  
  260. The rest of this document assumes that you have access to a machine
  261. connected to the Internet that supports FTP, and that you have a system
  262. that can print both ASCII formatted documents and PostScript formatted
  263. documents.
  264.  
  265. The files are available in PostScript through anonymous FTP from 
  266. "info.bellcore.com" in the /pub/ISDN sub directory. 
  267.  
  268. I M P O R T A N T:  Many of the files are large, it is essential 
  269. that you first get the README (the upper case is important) file 
  270. for detailed information on retrieving various files associated with
  271. documents.
  272.

  294. <enter> represents pressing the "enter" or "return" key on your 
  295. computer keyboard.

  297. The README file is in ASCII format and may be read with most word
  298. processors.  The other files in the directory are in PostScript format
  299. and may be downloaded as needed by using the "mget" command while in
  300. the FTP.
  301.  
  302. You should determine your local procedure for printing PostScript
  303. documents.  For example, on many UNIX systems, PostScript files may be
  304. printed on a PostScript printer by using the "lpr" command. A typical
  305. Post Script print command may look like:
  306.  
  307.     lpr -P<printer> -h -v <filename.ps>
  308.  
  309. where:
  310.     <printer> represents printer name accessable to your system, and 
  311.     <filename.ps> represents a PostScript file. 
  312.  
  313. notes:
  314.     '-h' corresponds to the option of suppressing the printing of 
  315.     burst page while '-v' corresponds to the option of printing 
  316.     raster image, i.e., PostScript. Please note that the printer 
  317.     must support PostScript imaging model in order to print these 
  318.     files.  
  319.  
  320. Some systems are configured to detect PostScript formatted files
  321. automatically, so a command to print the documents on that kind
  322. of system is:
