  8.   Every self respecting hacker or phone phreak should plan ahead.  In this
  9. syllabus I hope to show you how and what to take when you do indeed make a break
  10. for it.

  13. Know Your Neigborhood
  14. ---------------------
  15.   Knowing your neighborhood is the only defence you have.  First make a map of
  16. the areas you intend to be and take it with you.  Believe me it will come in
  17. handy.    Next have a place where you can stash a sup- ply of food,equipment etc.
  18. This area should be easily accesible but impossible to find from the air.  Also
  19. you will need a place to stay for the first couple of nights...  Also if you are
  20. attending school, DON'T go there...That is the first place that they will look
  21. for you.

  24. What to take with you
  25. ---------------------
  26.   Here are a few things that are a definite must to take with you.

  28. Test Set
  29. 7/16" Socket wrench
  30. Money
  31. Clothing (personal choice)
  32. Hammer or small crowbar
  33. Pliers (vice grip tm)
  34. Two (2) pair of shoes
  35. All incriminating printouts
  36. And one days supply of high protein
  37. food

  39.   All of this should be kept at your 'stash' area.

  41. On The Road
  42. -----------
  43.   Although I would recommend staying at a friends (more on this later) having a
  44. fairly good idea of where you're going is important.  I would suggest somwhere
  45. near your domicile but not near enough to attract attention..

  47. A Friend in Need...
  48. -------------------
  49.   Having a friend who will put you up for the night is the best thing you could
  50. hope for.  Such a friend is one who:
  51.  
  52.   Has no connection to you (meaning computers,phones etc.) Has some idea of what
  53. you do But won't spill the beans.  Has laid back parents.  And is willing to
  54. cover for you.

  56. After

  58.   Now say it's been awhile since you've been away...arrange for a meeting point
  59. between you and someone who knows if the heat is on or not...if not go back to
  60. your stash point and get ready for some 'wiretap' checking.  First go to the
  61. bridging head that your parents phone line is on.  Look for any type device or
  62. wire that shouldn't be there.  If there is one simply hook it on to someone
  63. else's wire pair.  Now carefully scout the box on the pole..repeat above
  64. procedure if necessary.  Now carefully enter your yard and look inside that
  65. box..  repeat above if necessary.  Now if everthing is O.K.  it is safe for you
  66. to go home..Still i would rec- ommend that you check for internal wiretaps..
