- If you know someone with a red box and want one but don't want to go through
- the bother of creating one, you can just "make" one using this method:
-
- 1) Go to Hill's, KB Toystore, K-Mart, etc and purchase a toy called
- a Yak Bak (a small recording and playback toy about the size and
- shape of your ear *grin*)
-
- 2) Use a knife to cut out the "SAY" button
-
- 3) Put the "SAY" button back in at an angle (so you can get it back out
- again)
-
- 4) Get your friend's red box and push the modified "SAY" button and record
- about $1 worth of tones or so
-
- 5) Replace the "SAY" button backwards (so you can't see the letters)
-
- 6) Secure the button with tape, etc. (you might not want to secure it
- permanently cuz if the batteries die you need to re-record the tones)
-
- 7) You now have a red box.
-
- Hope someone finds this useful!
