  14. Welcome to the Virus Digest... I want to start off with this simple message:

  16.         ALL THE INFORMATION IN THIS PUBLICATION IS PURELY INFORMATIONAL. I, THE

  20. Okay, now that is out of the way, and we can get on to the main issue.
  21. The Virus Digest is a monthly publication by The Attitude Adjuster, and
  22. distributed by S.O.H.A. Each month we will review a few new viruses and look at
  23. current virus technology. If you have anarticle to submit, or a complaint (or
  24. compliment), you can leave them on The Razor's Edge BBS, or The Magic Eye BBS.

  31.                 A very compact, easy to start virus... The version I have
  32. totally infected a test machine and had it to it's knees in a week. It adds
  33. itself to programs every time they are run, until they are too big to fit into
  34. memory...

  36.         SlowDeath

  38.                 A strange virus/trojan. It goes TSR, then waits for a Ctrl-Alt-
  39. Del. As soon as it sees one, it overwrites the FAT on Hard Drive 0.
  40.  
  41.         DoubleWrite
  42.  
  43.                 VERY SMALL!! It's 273 bytes long... AND VERY EFFECTIVE... it
  44. will abort if no Hard Drive 0 is present, but if there is a HD0, it keeps
  45. overwriting the FAT till the computer is rebooted... if it is not stopped, it
  46. will wear the flux out, and ruin the drive... I accidently ran it here... it
  47. makes DOS find CRC errors on sector 0-100, and cause it to be unable to
  48. format... AMAZING! This is a virus you should activate remotely if you can get
  49. to DOS on a BBS !!
