                     Space Quest II Hints

            Solution : 240 out of 250 points

Hints :

    First you start off . When you are called , say LOOK WATCH and then
the C button . Then go in the space ship . Go to the lockers on the right hand
side and put OPEN LOCKER . Get the jock strap and the cube . Then go directly
to the shuttle and sit back and watch . Next is the forest . First , get the
card off the dead guard , by typing GET CARD . Then , go north and then west .
Go to the little plants , and type GET SPORES . Then go north . Save your game
here , you'll probably get killed a couple off times . Get past the plant to
the bush with berries and type GET BERRIES . Then go back to where you started
and save it . Now go north and hide in the upper left hand bush , away from the
guard . Now , go east . Free the monster . Now go west twice to the mail box .
Then type MAIL ORDER FORM . You should get a whistle . Now , go to the swamp .
Before entering the swamp , type RUB BERRIES ON BODY . The monster will swallow
you and then spit you out . Well done ! Then travel along the upper parts of
the swamp and you'll reach a deep part . Go in the deep spot . Write out TAKE
A DEEP BREATH and then go under . ( Save your game ) Then travel down and then
left and then up . You found the gem ! Get out and type GET GEM . You may want
to look at it . Go back in the water and again , TAKE DEEP BREATH , and go back
to the surface and go east . When you reach the coast , save your game . Now ,
go east . To get by the cliff , say CLIMB TREE , and it should fall and then
you'll pass by . Save your game . Now go east and keep going . You'll get
caught , by don't worry , we'll get by ! Now you'll be prisoner of a monster .
Save your game . Put it on slow . Say TALK TO MONSTER two times and then he'll
come . Now type THROW SPORE AT MONSTER , but wait until he is quite close !
He should drop to the ground , knocked out . He should be close so type in GET
KEY . Then type in UNLOCK DOOR to get out . Save the game . Go to the rock and
type GET ROPE . Save your game . Now go north ( and fast ! ) , then go west .
Find the log , the one you crossed one , and go on it . Type TIE ROPE ON LOG
and then desend . Save your game . Go to the bottom of the rope and type in
SWING ON ROPE . After the monster swings at you 3 times , press F10 ( jump ) .
You should land on the cliff . Now go in the cavern . Save ! Now type in USE
GEM and then travel west . If you fall , you'll be safe . You will be in the
land of those little red-guys . Remember , GET THE GEM !! Now , go south .
The king will come and thank you for saving one of the hunters , the red-guy .
Now , go to the two guys at the rock and type in SAY THE WORD . This one took
me quite a while , and so did the next part !! Then , go down the ladder . Save
the game . Now type in PUT GEM IN MOUTH . Then , go in a south-easterly
direction . Save the game and make a map . This will help . After you get out ,
travel east then go along the eastern water way ! Save your game , of course ,
before you do this . Then you'll fall out of a waterfall - sort of . Then go
east and stay in the water . Type in BLOW WHISLTE . A monster will come . Go
west and then east . He'll be gone ! Go through , and when you do type GET
ROCK . Save your game . Go north and then hide behind the first bush .
Now , type in THROW ROCK WITH SUPPORTER AT GUARD . This will kill him and
you'll get 20 big ones ! Save la game . Now go to the door and type INSERT
KEYCARD . Go in the ship by typing GO IN SHIP . Now do all the stuff to launch
and sit back and relax . You'll be captured the evil villian Vohaul ! After
landing in his spaceship , save your game ! Now go out and go along the path
along the back . Yes , it does connect . If you don't get on the path the first
time , try again ! Trust me . I've gotten you this far , haven't I ? Now , look
around and pick up these items , which is in the bathroom , and in closets .
You need a " glass cutter " , " paper tissue " , " a plunger " , and also a
" lighter " . When you get these items , go back to the ship . Save the game !
Now go down the stairs . You'll set off a trap , obviously ! Save . Go to the
right barrier and wait until the opening is close . Then type PUT PLUNGER ON
BARRIER , just a second before you'll fall in and die of acid . Now save the
game ! Type PUT PAPER IN BASKET . Now type LIGHT PAPER WITH LIGHTER . This will
set off the water spinklers and short-fuse the robot guards , on your left and
right screen . Save . You don't need the basket now . Go right and keep going .
You now meet the ultimate super bad ruthless evil villian Vohaul ....
Go up the stairs and you'll shrink and be put in a jar . Type in CUT GLASS WITH
CUTTER . Now go in front of the vent and type GO IN VENT . This is his respit-
ory controlling device . Go to the button and type PUSH BUTTON . You have now
killed the ultimate super bad ruthless evil villian ! Now get out of the vent
and go to his keyboard . Turn on the computer and then type TYPE ENLARGE . Then
go back to the jar and go inside . You're back to normal ! * Then type in LOOK
MAN . Now type LOOK HAND . Then type LOOK SCREEN and type in the word on his
hand . This should set off the self-destruct device on the ship . * ( I forgot
to put in this detail ) Now go up the  stairs to escape the spaceship's self
destuction . When you appear in the tube , go to
the red spot on the tube and type OPEN DOOR . Then type GET OXYGEN MASK . Now
go to the next set of tubes . Save your game . Continuue . There is a spot
where it cracks and you will die . Restore the game and before you hit the
spot , type PUT ON OXYGEN MASK . Then proceed out of the tubes . The mask will
be taken off by itself . Save the game . Now go right . You'll find a robot ,
like the ED-209 , out of ROBOCOP , a great movie . Go see it ! Anyways , go
back to the tube and go in it again while he will pass . Then go out and burn
to the escape pods . Go on slow . Save your game ! When at the pod ( the first
pod the the right ) , type PRESS BUTTON . Then type GO IN POD . The robot will
not harm you once you're safely inside of the escape pod . Now type PRESS
LAUNCH BUTTON , and hold on ! Save the game . You are in the pod now . You are
running low on air . Type LOOK . Then go to the sleeping chamber and type in
OPEN CHAMBER . Now type in GET IN CHAMBER . You , or rather I , have solved
SPACE QUEST II ! Congratulations ! Try to top my score , all you people !
