  1. If you are just starting to play EPIC, you may wonder what an "ENTRYCODE" is,
  2. well, it's a way for you to jump ahead to different levels after you have
  3. completed the ones before.  I have finished the game, and I wrote down the 
  4. codes I was given for each time I stopped playing.  These may be all of the
  5. codes, and these may not, sometimes I played for awhile before stopping, so
  6. I may have bypassed a few codes.  As for the "crack" of unlimited weapons
  7. that was supposed to be in the released version, it didn't work for me, and
  8. I didn't find it necessary. FUEL, on the other hand, was a scarce commodity
  9. at times.  I encourage you to try to play this all the way through without
  10. jumping ahead, but if you get stuck, or just want to play the last level, 
  11. here are the codes I was given.

  21. If you haven't started playing EPIC yet and wonder what it is like, it's
  22. sorta like wing commander, but in some ways better.  It doesn't have the
  23. highly detailed ships that wing commander has, but doesn't suffer from
  24. the awful graphic slow downs that wing commander is prone to on anything
  25. less than a 486. The backgrounds were well done, and the action can be
  26. fierce at times when a lot of ships are involved.  It has the feeling of
  27. Battlestar Galactica, Star Wars, and the Last Starfighter in some ways.
  28. Enjoy the game, and if you get some more codes feel free to append this
  29. document and spread it around.

  31.         If you haven't gotten LEGALBBS.ZIP or LEGLBBS2.ZIP yet, be sure
  32. to get them, read them, and use them!  The head of the SPA is giving a talk
  33. in Chicago in June, and he is addressing the "software library" section
  34. of the copyright law and how it is valid.  I also encourage you to buy 
  35. software that you use regularly or find of particularly good quality.  BTW
  36. is EPIC for sale in the US? I didn't see it at the local "Electronics
  37. Boutique" or "Babbages" or "CompUSA"...
