  4. Totally Unauthorized Cheat Codes for Heretic.

  7. Guess you would like to know how to cheat in Heretic, well,
  8. don't type iddqd, you've probably figured that one out by now.
  9. idkfa doesn't work either.  I'll show you the codes that do work,
  10. and if you have any problems, or questions, drop me a note at
  11. 73252,1413.

  14. The Heretic Cheat Codes
  15.  
  16. Note: Just type these codes in while playing,
  17. you will receive the benefit immediately.  These codes only
  18. work on the first 4 difficulty levels, the 5 level is like the
  19. nightmare mode in DOOM & DOOM II.
  20.  
  21. The Code        What it does
  22.  
  23. kitty        =    Toggle Clipping
  24.             - Walk through walls, type it again
  25.             to turn it off
  26.  
  27. ravmap        =    Shows entire map in map mode
  28.             (Hit tab for map mode)
  29.             type ravmap twice shows where all the monsters
  30.             are type ravmap a third time to revert to the
  31.             original.
  32.  
  33. massacre    =    This kills all of the monsters on the current
  34.             level.
  35.  
  36. skel        =    This gives you all the keys
  37.  
  38. rambo        =    This gives you all the weapons and 200% Armor!
  39.  
  40. quicken        =    GOD Mode.  You can't be harmed
  41.  
  42. ponce        =    Full Health
  43.  
  44. shazam        =    Weapon Power up (Tome of Power) lasts for 30
  45.             secs.
  46.  
  47. engage        =    Level Warp.  i.e. engage12 would take you to
  48.             the second level of the first epidsode.
  49.  
  50. gimme        =    This gives you the other Heretic items from a
  51.             menu.
  52.  
  53.             It will ask for an item letter (a-j)
  54.             and a quanity (1-9)
  55.  
  56.             i.e. gimme a 9
  57.             This would give you 9 invincibility rings.
  58.             You then use the items from your inventory
  59.             using the [ ] keys to select it, then press
  60.             enter to load the item, press enter again
  61.             during play to use the item.

  63.     Here are the letters for the gimme command
  64.  
  65.     a:    Ring of Invincibility
  66.     b:    Shadowsphere (Partial Invisibility)
  67.     c:    Quartz Flask (Purple Vial, gives 7 chain links of
  68.         health)
  69.     d:    bad input (Registered Version Only)
  70.     e:    Tome of Power (Black Skull Book, gives your weapons
  71.         superpowers!
  72.     f:    Torch (Light up dark areas, duh.)
  73.     g:    Bomb of the Ancients (If you lay one down, move away
  74.         fast!)
  75.     h:    Morph Ovum (Turns the enemy into a chicken)
  76.         - The little chickens will attack and peck you, kill
  77.         them!
  78.     i:    Wings of Wrath (You can fly!)
  79.     j:    bad input (Registered Version Only)

  81. And finally, ever wonder what Heretic looks like
  82. from a chickens point of view?

  84. Type cockadoodledoo
  85. This turns you into a chicken for a short period of time.

  91. IDKFA          - Gives You All The Weapons, Keys, Ammo, and 200% Armor

  96.              S - Get Beserk Strength
  97.              V - Temporary Invulnerability

  100.              R - Get Anti-Radiation Suit

  187. Type the following directly in the game, regardless of your current
  188. keyboard mapping setup.

  191.    Note: You must type GABBAGABBAHEY before you can use the other codes.

  202. Note: You might want to change your "bomb" key to something that won't
  203. conflict with these codes, otherwise you might blow up before you finish
  204. typing it.
