  10.   The DDN MANAGEMENT BULLETIN is distributed online by the DDN Network
  11.   Information Center under DISA contract as a means of communicating
  12.   official policy, procedures and other information of concern to
  13.   management personnel at DDN facilities.  Back issues may be read
  14.   through the TACNEWS server ("@n" command at the TAC) or may be
  15.   obtained by FTP (or Kermit) from the NIC.DDN.MIL host [192.112.36.5]
  16.   using login="anonymous" and password="guest".  The pathname
  17.   for bulletins is ddn-news/ddn-mgt-bulletin-nn.txt (where "nn" is the
  18.   bulletin number).

  21.          Relocation of the MITRE Mailbridge to Andrews AFB
  22.  
  23. 1.  Now that the mailbridge at PSN 246 and CISCO IPR at Ft Detrick are
  24.     operational, DISA is relocating the mailbridge at PSN 17 to Andrews
  25.     AFB, PSN 67.  The new mailbridge address is 26.1.0.67. It should become
  26.     effective on 22/Feb/92 during the early afternoon.  All gateways or 
  27.     hosts using 26.20.0.17 as their primary or secondary mailbridge, i.e.,
  28.     source of external gateway protocol (EGP) updates, should convert to 
  29.     the 26.1.0.67 mailbridge.

  31. 2.  This does not affect the NSFNET gateway addresses.  The FIX-East gateway
  32.     into NSFNET remains 26.29.0.54.  The FIX-West NSFNET gateway remains
  33.     26.20.0.16.  Any gateways or hosts using a default route for FIX-EAST 
  34.     should already be using 26.29.0.54.

  36. 3.  All gateways and hosts converting to 26.1.0.67 should verify proper
  37.     operations on Monday, 24/Feb/92.  If DISA has installation problems,
  38.     we will announce that ASAP.  However, all gateways and hosts using the 
  39.     new address should be prepared to use their secondary mailbridge if 
  40.     required.

  42. 4.  MAILBRIDGES provide either full updates or limited updates.  Currently,
  43.     full updates are provided by the following:
  44.    
  45.               BMILAMES (26.20.0.16)
  46.               BMILMITR (26.20.0.17) and
  47.               BMILRAND (26.1.0.51)

  49.     The following mailbridges provide limited updates:

  51.               BMILRICH (26.3.0.246)
  52.               BMILISI  (26.6.0.103)
  53.               BMILDCEC (26.21.0.104)
  54.               BMILOAK  (26.1.0.148)
  55.  
  56.     As soon as it is operational, BMILANDW (26.1.0.67) will provide full 
  57.     updates.

  59.     Gateway or host administrators who are uncertain whether their systems 
  60.     should receive full or limited updates should contact the CONUS MILNET 
  61.     Monitoring center at the number(s) given in paragraph 5 for assistance.
