  2.            Cable Descrambling

  4.      If you have cable TV but are not
  5. fortunate enough to have the Premium
  6. services, here is a simple way to steal
  7. Cinemax, The Movie Channel, Showtime,
  8. the Disney Channel, and any other
  9. service that appears as a bussing fuzzy
  10. picture (that you can ALMOST get
  11. clearly by fine tuning). This method
  12. also works on channels that appear as a
  13. lined flashing screen that produce a
  14. beeping sound. These channels are not
  15. scrambled, but instead a garbage
  16. transmission is sent at the same
  17. frequency. Therefore, in order to
  18. receive the movie servcices clearly,
  19. you must filter out the garbage.

  21. Here is a simple way to do this:

  24.      Examine the back of your TV set.
  25. Find the VHF antenna terminals (these
  26. are the antenna terminals that the
  27. cable service is hooked up to). Get a
  28. piece of antenna wire (about 3 feet
  29. long). Strip one end of the wire and
  30. and attach it to the VHF terminals
  31. along with the cable. Tune in to one of
  32. the movie services and adjust the fine
  33. tuner until you get the cleanest
  34. picture. Cut off about 1/4 inch of the
  35. antenna wire and adjust the fine tuner.
  36. Continue to do this until you get a
  37. nearly perfect picture (you should not
  38. have to cut off more than 6 inches of
  39. the antenna wire). Get a piece of
  40. aluminum foil and wrap it around the
  41. antenna wire slide it up and down until
  42. you have a perfect picture. This is a
  43. simple yet effective way to get movies
  44. for free.
