  3. If you run OS/2 2.0 DO NOT install these files.

  5. If you have installed the service pack for OS/2 2.1, DO NOT INSTALL THIS APAR!

  7. If you run OS/2 2.1 on an OEM machine (NOT IBM) you will need to install
  8. this APAR before using WWIVlock.  There is a bug in the BIOS handling
  9. of OS/2 2.1 and I personally prompted IBM to generate this fix for my
  10. compiler.  Programs compiled with my compiler would not run on OS/2 2.1,
  11. and I have permission to distribute this fix.

  13. Just copy the DOSKRNL and VBIOS.SYS files over the existing ones in
  14. your OS2\MDOS dir and reboot.

  16. You might want to try running WWIVlock first, and if it gets the 3176 error,
  17. then you know you need the fix.  If you want further information
