  3. We have greatly expanded the partition limits by using DOS' own
  4. inherent file hierarchy structure. Now you are only limited to the
  5. number of filenames that DOS allows, not including the extensions.
  6.  
  7. We hope that M-M will benefit you in some way so you will register the
  8. product if you have NOT already registered. The Ghostwheel Project is
  9. one of our oldest and most successful software development projects ever,
  10. and a lot of that is due to user support and suggestions. What was once
  11. a little BBS carousel used solely on DevPal systems has grown dramatically
  12. into a very vital part of BBS's and metronets worldwide. We will continue
  13. to support the BBS community with M-M as its need continues to increase.

  15. Also, we have been receiving some pretty disturbing news about other BBS
  16. carousels claiming to be "as good as" or "better than" M-M. The sysops have
  17. since switched to M-M, but they've been kind enough to keep us informed
  18. about these clones (or more accurately, wanna-be's). One point which we must
  19. make very clear: if you choose to register one of these clones, we do not
  20. provide support for the clones, even if they purportedly are "just like"
  21. M-M. As you have probably figured out by now, M-M is the most comprehensive
  22. yet the simplest BBS carousel to set up, and nevertheless fits in the BBS
  23. center/hub category. We do NOT guarantee the same about the clones.

  25. We will hopefully be able to provide a Comparison Guide in the near future,
  26. to be packaged with the next release of M-M, to better help you understand
  27. why M-M is miles beyond the competition.
