Version 1.02 of LISTREC see's some great improvements and additions.
Have added capability to show the Area NAME and NUMBER, also shown is
the Area PASSWORD, or NONE...if there isn't one. And LISTREC states whether
the area is a CDROM file area or not.
This is accomplished with the included program MAKEDAT.EXE, please see the
file MAKEDAT.DOC for more information, and instructions on use.
Version 1.01
* LISTREC now displays ALL information in the HDR record, including the Flag
Settings. Formatting is quite readable, and all records are line
separated. The only item not shown is the CRC value.
During screen display, LISTREC will beep each time a new HDR file is
opened, as the display, even with a short delay, goes by pretty quick,
this beep will tell you a new HDR has been started, and give you a chance
to hit a key to pause if you wish.
* A picklist is now available, you can TAG the files you wish to list. Files
are processed in the order they are tagged. For one file, simply highlight
the file and press ENTER.
Output to printer is achieved by adding the P switch.
LISTREC alone, calls pick list.
LISTREC P calls picklist, output goes to the printer.
* You can now limit the display/printout to records that contain a specific
File Name or Uploader Name.
LISTREC WHO will prompt for a Uploader name, case is not important.
LISTREC FILE will prompt for a File Name, again, case not important.
Both of these commands support the P switch.
Tagging is NOT available when searching. LISTREC will search ALL HDR
files, and ALL records for the name specified.
See the manual for more information on these options.
* On printer output, the date and time of report generation is listed, for
future reference.
* All of the original switches for display of one HDR file or all, still
exist as before. The major change is that LISTREC alone now calls the Pick
List instead of showing ALL records. But you can still use LISTREC * to
accomplish the same action.
A Help screen is available ...... LISTREC ? will show it.
