This is a quick bug-fix release of ULPDB.EXE, version 0.94ß1. A bug exists
which can cause your duplication database index file to be written out with
invalid data, subsequently making the next compile abort with "CRC Database
Validation Failed" errors.
This is not a data-damaging bug, as deleting the index file (usually called
DATABASE.IDX) and recompiling will correctly re-index the database.
Enclosed in this archive are the following files:
ULPDB.EXE Updated database processor
README.1ST This file.
FILE_ID.DIZ Internal description file
When you unzip any of the above archives, you should see my PKZIP authenticity
verification stamp, and a '-AV' after every file in the archive:
# SSU301 The Bloom Beacon-Picayune BBS
If there are any files missing or added to the disk or archive, or the -AV
stamp is missing, the disk has been tampered with. It would be advisable to
contact me for a known good copy of this fix.
Sorry for any inconvenience; I must stress that there is nothing wrong with
your database. There is no need to regenerate, just replace your executable
with this one, delete the index file and recompile your database.
