* REQUIREMENTS *
A computer with DOS capabilities, a phone line, and a FaxModem...
────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
* GUARANTEE *
Ha Ha Ha Ha...Guarantee? Okay, if this program breaks, I guarantee that
you get to keep both pieces...How's that? :)
Okay, here's a better one...This program is guaranteed to be written in
Borland Pascal 7.0, with a modified runtime library so that it is fully
Pentium 233+ compatible...Is that a little better? :)

This is the first thing you'll see when you fire up the program. Before
you do anything, go to the configuration section to set up the program to
work with your modem. Click your mouse on the 'Configuration' button or
press ALT-C on your keyboard.

Most of these settings are standard and most likely won't need to be changed
unless you are running a non-standard setup. Here is a brief rundown of the
fields and their functions.
Init #1, #2, #3 : You can have up to three initialization strings here. If
your modem only uses one, just put it in the Init #1 field
and erase the other two fields. The default strings are in
here so as to detect fax machines as well.
Comm Port: The serial port in which your modem is attached.
Baud Rate: The locked baud rate of your modem port. Always set this higher
than your maximum modem speed for optimum performance. Valid
settings are 2400, 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600, and 115200.
Port Addr: This is the hex address of your modem port if you are using a
non-standard port setting. Otherwise, set this to zero.
IRQ: This is the interrupt request number of your modem port if you are
using a non-standard port setting. Otherwise set this to zero.
Cmd Delay: This is the number of milliseconds your modem requires between
command strings. 500 to 1000 are normal for most modems.
Dial Cmd: This is the command you modem uses to dial a number.
Off Hook: This is the command to take your modem of the hook.
On Hook: This is the command to put your modem back on hook.
Prefix: This is where you tell the program what prefix to dial
numbers in. You can add anything in here from call waiting
block commands to caller ID block commands as well as the
prefix you wish to dial.
-=> SAVE YOUR CHANGES!!!!!
You may also want to take a look at the file NODIAL.LST with your editor as
well. This is a list of phone numbers that you never want this program to
dial. Keep in mind that if you use some kind of added string in your dial
prefix, you will have to include this prefix before all numbers listed in
this file as well. If you want to save yourself a headache and some time,
you can add things like "*70," in your dial command (ie: ATDT*70,) to block
call waiting. This way you won't have to add the "*70," before every number
in your NODIAL.LST file.

When you tell the program to Dial Numbers, you will first be presented with
this little window. This is where you tell the program to start dialing from
and where to stop dialing at. These are the last four numbers added after the
dialing prefix you defined in the configuration window. After you enter the
numbers you want, click on 'Go For It!' and let it run. While the program is
in dialing mode, you can press any key on your keyboard to cancel dialing.
* FILES CREATED BY THE PROGRAM *
BUSY_BAD.LST: Any time a number is busy or gets the recording from the phone
company saying the number isn't assigned or is no longer in
service, that number will be written to this file.
NOANSWER.LST: Any time a number doesn't answer, it is written to this file.
MODEM.LST: Any time a live modem is found, the number is written to this
file.
FAX.LST: Any time a fax machine is found, the number is written to this
file.
