  6.     BEFORE USING THE VIRTUAL PASCAL PRODUCT (HEREINAFTER REFERRED TO AS THE
  7.     "SOFTWARE", YOU SHOULD CAREFULLY READ THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
  8.     USING THE PROGRAM INDICATES YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

  11.   Grant of licence

  13.     The Software is provided free of charge. Provided you accept the terms
  14.     of this agreement, vpascal.com will grant you the personal and non-
  15.     exclusive right to install and use the software.

  17.     The right to use the software includes the right to compile and
  18.     distribute software written in and compiled with Virtual Pascal, but
  19.     does not include the right to distribute any binaries, source code
  20.     etc. that is part of Virtual Pascal itself except as described below.

  22.   Acknowledgement

  24.     You are permitted, but not required, to acknowledge the use of Virtual
  25.     Pascal in your software or documentation.  If you write a nice piece of
  26.     software, it would be appreciated if you send an e-mail to
  27.     vp@vpascal.com describing what your software does.  However, you are
  28.     not obliged to do so.

  31.   Distribution of the original archive
  32.  
  33.     The software is distributed free of charge ("FreeWare").
  34.  
  35.     The unmodified original distribution archives may be distributed by any
  36.     means, including through magazine cover disks, electronic transfer etc.
  37.     No charge for this may be charged, except for a reasonable fee for
  38.     duplication/media, and a shipping charge, where applicable.
  39.  
  40.     When distributing the software, it must be done by distributing
  41.     the original distribution archive with all required files and
  42.     documentation present. You may not reverse engineer or
  43.     decompile the software in any way.

  45.     The software is Copyright (C) 2003 by vpascal.com and Allan Mertner.

  48.   Distribution of a modified version

  50.     Distribution of a modified version of Virtual Pascal is prohibited,
  51.     except with the express written permission of the publisher.

  53.     If you wish to distribute a modified version, for example for embedding
  54.     all or parts of the Software in another software package, please contact
  55.     the publisher.

  58.   Warranty and Limitations

  60.     vpascal.com gives no warranty and makes no representation either
  61.     express or implied with respect to the Software or the
  62.     Documentation, their quality, performance, fitness for a particular
  63.     purpose or merchantability and in particular but without limitation
  64.     vpascal.com does not warrant that the Software will meet your
  65.     requirements or that the operation of the Software will be
  66.     uninterrupted or error free or that defects in the Software will be
  67.     corrected.  Accordingly the Software and Documentation are licensed
  68.     "as is" and you shall load and use the Software at your own risk.

  70.     In no event will vpascal.com be liable to you for any loss or damage
  71.     of any kind, whether direct or indirect, special incidental,
  72.     consequential or otherwise, including but not limited to loss of
  73.     profits, business interruption or loss of information or any other
  74.     consequential loss arising from your use of or inability to use the
  75.     Software or the Documentation or from errors or deficiencies in it
  76.     whether caused by negligence or otherwise except as expressly
  77.     provided herein and whether or not vpascal.com has been advised of
  78.     such loss or damage.

  80.   Termination of licence

  82.     You may terminate your licence at any time.  vpascal.com may terminate
  83.     your licence if you fail to comply with the terms and conditions of
  84.     this licence.

  89.     Company names, brand names and product names are trademarks or
  90.     registered trademarks of their respective holders.
