=============================================================================
Control Key Description
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
<DELETE> Deletes the highlighted file from the file list. FileMan will
also prompt you to see if you want the file physically
deleted.
<ESC> Returns to the main menu without saving the file list. You
should only use this option if you do not want the changes
you've made saved.
<F10> Returns to the main menu and saves the new file list. This is
the normal method for returning to the main menu. Use <ESC>
instead of <F10> if you do not want the changes you've made
saved.
<ALT><C> Scans the file area for one or more files that aren't
currently in the file list. If FileMan finds a file that is
not in the file list it will add it to the file list and
attempt to extract a FILE_ID.DIZ or DESC.SDI file to obtain a
description for the file. If a FILE_ID.DIZ or DESC.SDI file
is not available a description of "No Description" will be
inserted for the file's description.
<ALT><D> Set the date in the file list for the actual date of the
file. FileMan will prompt you to see if you want to perform
this operation for the highlighted file or for all of the
files in the file list.
<ALT><L> Sets the length in the file list to the actual size of
the file. FileMan will prompt you to see if you want to
perform this operation for the highlighted file or for
all of the files in the file list.
<ALT><M> Moves the highlighted file. After pressing <ALT><M> FileMan
will display a list box for you to choose which file area you
want to move the highlighted file to.
<ALT><R> Reads either the highlighted file or all of the files for
either a FILE_ID.DIZ or DESC.SDI description file. If a
description file is found, FileMan will replace the file's
current description with the contents of the description
file.
<ALT><S> Sorts the file list. The file list is sorted either
alphabetically or by date. The type of sort is determined by
the sort setting that you selected for the file area in
TriMan.
<ALT><U> Removes "Uploaded By" from a file's description. FileMan will
prompt you to see ifyou want to perform this operation for
the highlighted file or for all files in the files list.
<ALT><V> Performs a virus check on a file. FileMan will prompt you to
see if you want to perform this operation for the highlighted
file or for all of the files in the file list. If the file is
infected with a virus, FileMan will ask you if you want to
delete it.
<ALT><W> Writes a file's description as a new FILE_ID.DIZ file.
FileMan will prompt you to see if you want to perform this
operation for the highlighted file or for all files in the
file list. If a FILE_ID.DIZ already exists in the file,
FileMan will prompt you to confirm that you want to replace
it.
<ALT><Z> Converts a file to the BBS's default archive type. The BBS's
default archive type is set in the system configuration using
TriMan. FileMan will prompt you to see if you want to perform
this operation for the highlighted file or for all files in
the file list. If a file doesn't have a recognized extension
(ZIP, ARJ, LZH, LHA, SDN, PAK, ARC, or RAR), FileMan will
compress the file with a FILE_ID.DIZ file generated from the
file's description in the file list.
