  8. Sysop's TechNet is pleased to announce that we are fully equipped to handle
  9. a large amount of nodes via the internet.  At our disposal we are utilizing
  10. The E-mail trasport and the  TransX  method of transporting mail, as well as
  11. WaterGate's MailTunnel feature  and FidoNet2Internet Mailer.  We also have 
  12. FTP transfers, IPMailer transfers (ie.BinkD), Vmodem, Internet Rex, and 
  13. AllFix transfers available. Just recently we have acquired the ability to 
  14. transport QWK network packets via  the  internet,  as  well  as transport STN 
  15. packets via the BeemNet(tm) transport utility for Beemail.

  17. People can and will be fed via the internet (if they so choose) if there is
  18. no one currently in their local calling area receiving the network.
  19.  
  20. We  have had internet transport for Sysop's TechNet since day one, but only
  21. recently  have  we begun to structure it in such a way that we can handle a
  22. large  number of nodes via our internet hubs.  The way things stand now, we
  23. are ready to carry many new nodes, all across the globe.

  25. To  qualify  for  receiving  STN  mail via the internet, simply fill out an
  26. application  completely,  answering  those  questions  specific to internet
  27. transport.Forward it your appropriate RC and we will take care of the rest.

  29. We  are  also  looking  for  more people willing to be internet hubs, using
  30. whatever resources you have  available to you.  We are specifically looking
  31. for more FTP and a Vmodem hubs, however.

  33. Sysop's  TechNet  is  growing  at a rapid rate, and this is only our latest
  34. venture  in  just  another  way  to  expand  the network.  We are right now
  35. looking  for  a  strong  european  and  asian base for the network; already
  36. Canada  and  the US have accepted STN with open arms, but we are lacking in
  37. european and asian  nodes, and would more than anything like to reach those
  38. parts of the world.  If  you are willing, and able, fill out an application
  39. and send it to us.  We can have you setup within 72hrs and tossing new mail
  40. in the same timeframe.
  41.
