  1. This is for those of you who absolutely HATE reading docs.  NEWMSGS will 
  2. do essentially the same thing NEWMAIL does, it just does it a lot 
  3. faster.  To use NEWMSGS:
  4.  
  5.   1) Copy NEWMSGS.EXE to your GAP default directory.  (The one where 
  6.      GAPBBS.EXE is.)
  7.   2) Type NEWMSGS.
  8.  
  9. That's it.  No further operator intervention is required.  In ten to 
  10. fifteen minutes (maybe a bit more, maybe a bit less, depending on the 
  11. size and speed of your system) you should have updated new message 
  12. counts for all your users.
